Rofl, yeah, it sure is... Specially in large battles. There was an absurd one that I had to retry for a whole week, until it went perfect... With me charging, screaming with 8 grenades ready.

Uh... Some help? I am on a mission where I need to intercept a group of rebels, but for some reason I can't fight them! They pass right through me! What can I do to intercept them?

Edit: Never mind, I just found out you can't intercept on your own... So I just shot a random Guerrilla and got them hostile towards me. Problem solved.

I got it from a temporary source and so far i ran arround town a bit, sold an empty gun i found in a car and bought a shotgun but i have no idea how to advance the quest at all. Also, during a combat test(shooting the major and save scumming if needed), i dropped my shotgun in favor of my pistol and i can't pick it up again with the cursor's randomness not helping alot.

Questions:
How do i start the storyline?
Are items on the floor not accessible during combat or does the cursor(and the camera) hate me?

The cursor is fiddly, it takes some getting used to. Next time just right click your shotgun and pick shoulder, that way you can just switch to it later.

Also would anyone know where 7.62 keeps it's saves? I need to back mine up.

Just a thought, but check out your "My Documents".  A lot of really -annoying- games like to stuff things in there for god knows what reason.  Puzzle Quest: Galactrix comes to mind.  Probably in a subfolder (application data, I think, and then something else inside that)...

You have to edit the individual ini files for each merc in the actorsini directory, it can be hard though as they are named after their real names and not their callsigns. Just remember that some mercs wont join you under certain conditions. (Ali is the worse, he will only join if you are playing as Cameron. Though I think there are a few that will not work under the female player characters at all too.)

<7.62 folder>/Saves/

F5 is the quicksave shortcut and it keeps up 3 quicksaves for you, deleting the oldest when you make a new one.

How on earth am i suposed to pay for mercs? A quest that takes several days doesn't give enough money to pay even one fo 24 hours.

Edit: Why am i playing with a narcoleptic? I fall down in "shock" every 30 seconds.
