I know a guy who read the whole series just for the one fight scene at the end of the series.  The whole, freaking, series.  It was horrible, according to him.  I am inclined to take his word for it, given what else I've heard.  I know some who likes the Sookie Stackhouse books (described to me as "fun trash") that doesn't even want to go near twilight.  And I know I don't like trashy books.

If LEGO ever does a Twighlight series, I swear I will raise all kinds of hell with them, at most as much as legally allowed.

I tend to avoid legos except for bionicle/technic and classic stuff (I forget what they call it).

This thread shows the swing of general opinion, the opinion of it's posters is that the books depict a petty re-imagining of vampires, apart from one guy who is labeled a troll. Last year I was labeled a troll for voicing the general opinion of this thread, while everyone else was praising the trendy 'vampires with feelings'. I wonder if the 2 threads contain some of the same members? And for something constructive, now that this twilight has turned you off sensitive new age vampires, have a look at the book Dracula. Surely you can read a classic if you can 'force' yourself through trash. Just remind yourself that Bram Stoker wrote it, you should remember that name being promoted at the box office.
