I have my three cats, Miranda, Lucy, and Queenie, my sister's dog, Ginger. Then the reptiles, I have my snakes Maria, Pinky, and Bella, my frogs Philbert and another whose name I hadn't taken the time to remember. Then I have two birds, Grandpa and unnamed. I had two rats, but one died in a fight and had gotten his butt eaten of and the other died from an infection from an injury he got from the fight.

We have one cat, which we got behind my mother's back while she was away. My mother now tolarates him, but I don't think she has ever petted him.

As of now, none, really. But I take care of my uncle's black Labrador, of some ridiculous breed that grows to insane sizes. He weighs more than me, and has a slight resemblance to a bear.

I also have cat that doesn't stay with me due to my housing condition. His name is usually Hobbs, Hobbits sometimes, and That Little Bastard at all other times.

My brother has this frog.  Its only about an inch long and it is completely aquatic.  He almost never feeds it or cleans its tank, but somehow this little frog has managed to survive about 4 years.  Its incredible.

I have two cats

My first, and oldest cat is named tinker, and is nearly 16 years old. Older even than me...

My second is only a few months old, and I get her for christmas just last year, we just call her kitsy cuz we're a bunch of loons in this house.

I have a rock I painted that looks like a frog. We call him Toady. (yes, we named him before I even heard of DF)

This isn't my pet, but the rat fight reminded me of this.

You know how hamsters will eat their babies if something is wrong with them?

My friend's hamster did this, and the rest of the babies retaliated.  When he came in to check on them one morning, the babies had torn open the mother's chest and eaten her entrails like some kind of horrifying zombie movie.  There were exposed ribs.

Ugh. I had bad luck with rodents when I was a kid. I remember a gerbil that ran straight into a wall and broke its neck. Also, my brother had two gerbils, and one morning he woke up and only had one and a half.

On the subject of bad luck with pets we've had terrible luck with house kittens, they get to just a bit younger then toady's scamps then just get sick and keel over, tis a bit sad cause you get kinda attached to them. Older cats are all fine though which is good, yay for pirate kitteh.
