I just had an idea.

We are all characters, therefore Humans. Human Rights.

Meaning I am not bound to the Cap'n's crew in anyway.

Super Idea.

I shall work at the docks and obtain a large amount of credits, and keep at it until I have an appropriate amount of skills. By the time I am ready, you guys will have moved on, or by posting this, I shall simply appear on a different planet and do my own thang.

If not, I break ties with YOUR crew, and start my OWN crew, and save up some credits to buy a ship. Best idea would be to grab Sean and give him a some power. Then start our own trading empire. And then buy a fleet of warships and fight some evil empire.

AND YOU WON'T BE INVITED.

O.o

Maybe. I don't know if I could easily keep track of people in vastly different locations/scenarios. Anyways, I'm off for the night. Expect a new turn up around 4-6 pm EST (if nothing comes up that is).

Hey, it was just an idea, and I don't really want to be tied down with a crew who's basicly heading towards untold chaos just by existing. And with Org in the picture...

I think I'll be better off breaking ties with the main group, getting some money and some skills in ship repair, and perhaps some other skills, I could join the Alliance, or maybe just go solo, buy a ship with just a small Living Quarters, a buffed up Control Room and filled up Weapon slots, stick a whole bunch of stuff and weapons and armor in it, hire up some NPC crew, and go Privateering.

The Galaxy is open me boy. You just have to have the dream.

And the credits.

Well, aside from Org, we're relatively competent.

How do you explain Cellphane Breakfast as a name?

You know what, I don't care. Why? Because I've decided.

I'm going it my own! And maybe Sean if he wants to come, but he might just want to fold into the flock. I'd rather just get a bunch of NPC crewman. They don't have to be good at what they do, I just don't want to hire shady or tough guy types. They always end badly. Just a bunch of guys with nothing to do. Fortune seekers like me. Get myself a ship and start building that monopoly...but first I'll need to figure out what I'll monopoly on...

I could run some guns, but that might get me in some trouble with the law.

I could deliver valued ores and crystals to places, but that could make me a target for Space Pirates.

...

This could take some time. But hey, I've got about as much time it takes me to raise enough money, and for that matter, for me to be inserted into the game to think about it.

How do you explain Cellphane Breakfast as a name?

Cut to the view aboard the bridge of an Alliance Destroyer Class Vessel. Red lights are flashing and sirens are blaring. An unknown and dangerous ship is approaching. The sirens cut out and a crewman yells to the Captain over the panicked din;

"Captain! We are receiving a class 6 communications signal from the rogue vessel! It seems to be-"

The Captain strikes a dramatic pose and cuts the crewman off in midsentence;

"Forget the signal type, what's the vessel's name? Bring it up on the video screen!"

"Aye aye, captain. Searching for call sign information now."

A picture of a menacing figure comes up on the screen. The rogue ship's captain, clad in red, stares intently. Below him, the video screen displays the vessel's information; Kradellian 307 Freighter, UNKNOWN MODIFICATIONS, VESSEL NAME: Cellophane Breakfast. The captain of the Alliance Destroyer turns pale.

"Cut communications. Engage the hyperdrive. We need to get out of here."

"No, captain! It's too dangerous, dammit! We're in close orbit around a star!"

"I DON'T CARE! EATING CELLOPHANE COULD CAUSE AN INTESTINAL BLOCKAGE! GET US OUT OF HERE!"

Etc.

How about you just call the ship "The Kradle of Death" and be done with it?

Actually, that's clever. Can it be The Kradel of Death instead, though?

Anyway, I'm changing my vote to The Kradel of Death. Cellophane Breakfast can wait.

I'm willing to give as much of my credits as are needed.  As to the vessel name, I agree that the Valhalla is far too great to be a minor freighter.  The Kradel of Death will work for me, though I'm not overly enthusiastic about it.

Is the crew suffering from a schism or something? If so I will split up and become ANOTHER seperate party focused on doing nothing at all.
