The Relations web would show who's related to who, and quickly allow you to see who's a close friend/married of another dwarf, so you can quickly find and console dwarves who have lost friends.

CIV WEB!!!

Display every siv in a big circle, red lines connecting enemies, green connecting allies, blue connecting 'at peace', and grey lines connecting civs with no contact.

this could be a good idea, would it require a noble, such as the broker or bookeper, to run?

A relationship web can't be ASCII, and will have to use normal graphics.

Considering DF's inbuilt Visualize feature, the relationship web shouldn't be too hard to integrate into the main program.
