Civ Screen
« on: April 04, 2009, 05:31:59 pm »

I just happened to hit the civilizations button, and noticed that there were no goblins or humans on the list.  Does this mean goblins will never siege?  I could've sworn I saw them in the neighboring thing.

Or does it mean those are the only civs with which I've come in contact?  I just realized that I've only seen a dwarf caravan, an elf caravan, and a kobold thief.

They don't show up on the list until you make contact.

Toady, how much of DF is inspired by Labyrinth? Is Armok actually David Bowie? Because that would simultaneously be disturbing and awesome.

Okay, good.

Also, can dwarves be hit by friendly dwarves' arrows?  Do I need to worry about people cleaning up broken arrows in my archery training area?

Ballista arrows will still slaughter any creature they touch, mind you.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
