Trail Of Vomit
« on: April 04, 2009, 10:42:52 am »

There's a strange trail of vomit outside my fortress. It's all over my guard dogs too. I can't figure out where it came from, anyone have any ieas?

I believe certain injuries may also cause the victim to hork.   I know I had a hunter who was munched by a mountain lion, and left a nice trail of blood and vomit and body parts.  Possibly your guard dogs ripped the guts out of a kobold thief?

I have stumbled upon a solution to mysterious trails of vomit.

Olivine roads. They have the exact same double-tilde and green colouration as the puke, so it just vanishes, and doesen't look unsightly.
The downside is that the way out of your fort is a vomit-coloured road. Take that as you will.

A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Toady, how much of DF is inspired by Labyrinth? Is Armok actually David Bowie? Because that would simultaneously be disturbing and awesome.
