I have a cousin. He is a big guy with an addictive personality. He is a person that takes things to an extreme whenever no apparent limit is forced on him.
Example: He often invites me to an All-you-can-eat type buffet. The usual trip to this restaurant is 1 and a half to 2 hours long as he eats. He is not a slow eater, he finishes more plates of food than any other person I know.
Within the last couple months, he's taken up bowling as a hobby. He started out as a very bad player, but he took a liking to the game and got much better through practice. He has very strong hands and wrists, so playing multiple games is no problem for him.
At the bowling alley, the number of games he'd play was limited to how much money he was willing to shell out per game, that is, until he learned of the membership offer, where for a mere 60 dollars, he can bowl as many games as he wants, all day, for an entire month.
Taking the Alley up on it's offer, whenever he heads out to bowl, he doesn't just play 2, 3, 4, or even 5 games before heading home, he plays 50-60 rounds of bowling before heading home. He does this very often, and he apparently doesn't feel any strain on his brawny hands and wrists.
The alley, which had this unlimited bowling membership deal for 10 years, after my cousin took advantage of this offer for a mere 2 months, the Alley is now changing the policy on the membership to only allow 6 games per day.
My cousin has become a very good bowler, the best I know, but he does tend to take things an extreme.
Does anyone else know anyone like this?
