After trying the local beer (tastes like a piss and shit thickshake) Archangel is still waiting. Where the hell is he?
"Whould you like something else sir?" The barman asks.
"Yeah. A double scotch please. Just scotch."

[Strife26]

"I'd rather not say, confidences and all."


Nice dodge self. I was fighting a horde of zombie with a continual stream of fire shot from a glove wouldn't be a good answer.

[Little]

Little winks, "A bit more exact?"

[Strife26]

I need a buzzword. National security?


"I'll say that it was a nasty situation which involved lots of fire, and that I, due to issues of national security, can't say much else."

[Little]

Little smiles widely, nearly glowing at the mention of fire and national security.

"Oooooh, so your a Fed! Makes sense, I guess. So, noticing your akwardness on these issues, are you doing anything tonight?"

[Strife26]

Gah. Awkward situation incoming. Curse my inate politeness.

"I have no plans at the current moment . . ."

That didn't come out right, did it? Damn.

[Little]

"That's good! Well, since I have no plans tonight other than finding a place to stay, and since you're not exactly bad looking, and you have more brains than the last one, and you're not exactly bad looking; that's important...

Little pauses for a second as grins at Strife and winks.

"Would you like to go out for dinner?"

[Strife26]

Are such fast relationships normal here? Gah.

"Errrrr . . ."

"I still have a large quantity of errands to run, and I'm sure you don't want to come along as I do them. Is there any way I could contact you so that we can make arangements?"

[Little]

Little pouts jokingly.

"I know you're never going to call. Honestly, I may not have a real job, but I'm not stupid."

[inaluct]

The straitjacketed man stops having a seizure and walks up to Strife and Little. He pats Strife on the back and says;

"No, he'll totally go to dinner! He'd love to!"

The man turns around to address the other three weirdos in the store and yells;

"And we'll go with him, right guys?!"

The three make grunts and yells of agreement.

"Anyway, I'm inaluct. Don't capitalize my name. I'm like e e cummings. Except not gay. The guy with the chin is Aqizzar; the one with the goggles is Duke, and the one who just bought a dead gibbon is Sniper Joe. Nice to meet you."

[Strife26]

Saved from awkwardidly again. The names seem kinda familar though . . .

"What do you think about this Little? Does it work for you?"

Strife rubs his wrist anxiously.

I don't remember ever being a cyborg.

[Little]

Little smiles, then bursts out laughing.

"All right! Nice to meet you, Inaluct. I'm Little. Since your little group has majority rule, you're paying. Do any of you have a place where I could stay for a night or two?"

She grins, then stands on her toes and kisses Strife on the cheek without even giving him a warning.

"I really need a place to stay, and Strife is involved with a job with national security, or so he tells me, and that just won't do! Otherwise, I'd totally stay with him, and he'd totally let me crash at his place," She snickers at the last bit, then continues, "but I need somewhere else, preferably a place with less association with authority then the bed of someone who works for 'national defense'."

(Are we headed towards the sitcom scenario anyway?)

Strife blushes, then turns to the counter, finally remembering his money.

((I have no idea. I thought sitcom won the vote. If it didn't, I change my vote to Sitcom!))
