How much should I ask for? If he figures out that I have no idea how much I can get for them, he'll rob me blind. Gah! What can I do? If need be, I can get more gold with a better price estimate, but it's a bad idea to dump to much off-world stuff here . . .

"How much can you give me for these, my good man?"

Strife puts his hand on the counter and leaves three silver-dollar sized coins there (even though there were only three before). The coins are featureless except for a serial code and 22W on the edge.

"Hmm." The train reaches the station. Archangel gets off, checks the photo of Boksi and looks around. Where is the bastard? Fairview Station isn't particularly interesting. He thought. At least there's a bar. Might as well get a drink while I wait.

(I'm using bastard as like guy or contact, and to show I'm irritated, not as an insult.)

"We're supposed to meet up with the others" Luke said as he fixed his coat and oh dear god was that a rat? "Cheetar said that he got us a job. That all I really got of the conversation. The rest sounded like gibberish"

Luke looked out of the corner of his eyes to see if the rat was still there. In its place were several roaches and bones sticking out here and there.

"Can I come in?"

"Sure thing," replied Frelock, undoing the chain locks and opening the door wide for his companion.  He could tell that Luke was disgusted with the place, though he did put on a good show of trying to hide it.  He was a good guy, Luke was.

They walked into the "living room" though it might have been more appropriate to call it the "not bedroom," as it had a small fridge, a coleman grill, a couch, TV, and a toilet sitting off in the corner with a shower curtain draped around it.  Light came from an open window, which had a cool breeze blowing through it.  This dissipated some of the smell that was coming from the place, an odor of alcohol, vomit, and rotting food.  Frelock strolled over to the fridge, opened it, and grabbed a can.

"Want a beer?"

"At 7 o' clock in the morning? Hit me" Now with a beer can in hand, Luke looked over the 'not bedroom'. Luke isn't a germaphobe in anyway (his own room is in a constant state of disaster, and he only showered twice a week), but the toilet in the corner was just plain crossing the line.

He looked over his friend in real concern "Are you still having the nightmares?"

Frelock looked out the window and sighed.  "I'd rather not talk about it..."  He took a deep drink of his beer, taking out half the can in one gulp.  "So, what type of job did Cheetar say he had, again?"

"Because we live in a capitalistic society where the exchange of goods and services is greatly dependent on hard currency. I need money to operate, no?"

Crap. IS this a capitalistic society? No one around here seems like a commie, but this might get awkward. er.

Wait, got an idea that's less likely to confuse everyone.

I'm not going to say what it is.

(Do it Inaluct!)

I wonder how many cents are in a dollar around here. I hope that it's something simple like a hundred. If I ever design a currency system, I will not make 25.2 cents to the dollar. Idiots in that place. Where was I now?

"I've answered the question before, so I might oververbiate it."

Am I forgeting something?

(No. I'll give you guys a hint, though; it's related to the number of my last post in this thread).

(Call forth a demon? I don't think our rarely here GM's would apreciate a suden adding of a magic system. Or if they decide to be cultists, Strife could fight them off. Although that might have some bad consequences.)

Okay, this seems to be capitalistic. Disaster avoided.
