I have to think the joke is that there is no joke. That or I'm just really, really slow.

Apparently some guy said something about finding the higgs something or other within the year, a year ago this coming Tuesday, hence the bit about him having until Tuesday to figure it out.

Also, potential for raptors/zombies/raptor-zombies.

Hmm, never heard of the bow zone. Why are they using crossbows then, and not, say, shortbows? I understand the implications of storing one in your desk, but at least it'd fit the theme.

Higgs boson

And there's really not much difference between him using a crossbow or a shortbow.  The joke is so unbelievably obscure that if you can manage to figure out the main deal, then the crossbow/shortbow distinction would mean practically nothing.
