Was the old forum (archives) deleted?
« on: April 03, 2009, 03:22:43 am »

I ask because I'm trying to navigate back to find a certain thing that would've only existed pre-change but I can't get to them. Any links to the old forum are dead or broken. Can someone confirm or deny this?

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

All of the posts exist here (to my knowledge, and sometimes clipped/distorted), but the cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi links are dead -- part of the problem with the old forum is that it was very hard to move the tens of thousands of files that forum created, so it was erased when I gave up the old Verio account.  Now everything is nice and happy in a database.  You'll have to try the forum search function, for example, to find old posts.  A poster's post history should also work if you know who was involved, though the dates couldn't be preserved so old posts are in semi-random order.
