No, that's not the name of my fortress; that's Pickfall.

Unfortunately, I had no iron or magma in that location, so I decided to do a little architecture. Here's the courtyard:

Those are supposed to be picks, by the way. The handle is made of cinnabar floors, the blade of gabbro floors, the rest of quartzite floors, and the edge of olivine floors.

Also, for those who can't read tilesets: the blue wavy thingies are kimberlite roads. The rest is not important.

Anyone else done something like that? If so, show off!

Sure; in my sig you can see links to two forts where I carved out a "Great Hall" in the shape of a giant mural.  My latest fort still doesn't have its impressive mural yet, but I'm planning a constructed floor mural of a White Oak in the main dining hall.  I'm going to need to start importing colored stones if I don't find some light and dark green stones soon!

I always make an Art after the goverment name or the forts name.
like my current fort the government is called the shield of humor so i made a shield with a happy dwarf on it.
tho my forts name is ''Mirrorguard'' anyone got an idea how i could do that one?

Edit: Haha i just checked my history through engravings and ive read about an Orc that fell into the magma while fighting imps. how my dwarfs know is a mystery as theyve been inside my walls since we arrived.
