Just saying, running forward like that on this sort of map is a terrible idea, but I'm doing it anyway, since everyone but Zako seems to advocate it.

I've been looking for this topic for awhile now and have been wondering when the next update would come.

First update in a long time here!

When we last left our heroes:

You guys had just decided to have Emp run for the the flag.

He moves forward a sees an enemy. Because of his total lack of ranged capabilities, he can't kill it on this turn.


So he hides behind a tree, and the group moves forward;
   


Enemy Turn:

All seems well so far...
      

Until this happens:

I guess they went around the tree and shot him.

And then, to add injury to injury, this happens;

The Ball Bullet Gods must be displeased. This is what I get for not updating the LP enough. Our first deaths, both on the same turn.

All is not lost.

We can still win this one.

Anyone have a strategy that they'd like to suggest?
