April fools day results.
« on: March 30, 2009, 11:46:39 pm »

Seeing as April fools day is nearing very quickly, and the bay12 community seem to be a bunch of foolsters. Is anyone here planning on fooling family or friends? For me I have a good joke planned. I have collected flys and other variousdead insects around the house and have stored them away. Come tommorrow morning, I will empty the container of insects on my sister's bed and pillow while she sleeps. When she wakes she will be surrounded in dead insects and freak out.

Post your april fools day plans so we can share the laughter.

I plan to ignore all attempts at tricking me. I was never good at setting up tricks, so I prefer to go passive on april 1st.

Since I'm supposed to be in lectures tomorrow until midday, and there's far more important work to be done for another university-relevant project that's due in on Thursday, I assume that I'm the one being tricked.

I'm just doing what I do every April Fools. Locking myself away from society and mumbling "bah, humbug" at the whole thing. I'm notoriously bad humoured when it comes to practical jokes. Despise them. Any other kind of humour I'm generally fine with, but I just can't stand practical jokes.

Hmm, I was thinking about making some safety reports for the production of methene, cycloethane and bezane and post them in the labs. Not sure about that yet though.

Oh and also the dehydration of graphite and the synthesys of dihydrogenoxide and measuring it's flash point ;)

Best Prank Ever:

1) Buy 3 piglets and large permanent markers

2) On the sides of the pigs, label each one "1", "2", and "4"

3) Have some friends release one of the pigs into a different parts of your school.

4) Watch as the authorities catch the pigs, but spend the rest of the day looking for pig "3".

This actually happened.

That sounds hilarious... I wish I had three piglets to do that with.

Sources? I DEMAND SOURCES! I'd also guess that you need a big school for this.

Sources? It happened at my highschool some odd years ago, when I was still in middleschool, the story was told to me by my old history teacher.

I got to do some awesome stuff though.

Living in a farm community full of spoilt brats has it's perks, one day during my senior year, we had a "tractor day" where all the kids brought their tractors to school. I hopped onto the smallest, fastest one (which had a WATER HOSE one it!) with three girls and did donuts in the grass, all the while spraying water on people.

Pure awesome.

Then there was Bike day, where we got to ride our bikes in the hallways.

Well, I've got a rather nice plan. My friend, who is a girl, has her birthday tomorrow, coincidentally. So tonight I am baking two cakes and setting up a surprise party. When she gets home from school, we're going to rush out of the house to her, and start cheering, tc. outside. I'll bring cake #1 out, and when she's about to blow out the candles, I'm going to throw the cake at the ground and we'll all start walking away. Later on we'll come back, explain, and throw a real birthday pary with cake #2.

This must be evil. Wear an iron ball-protector. Or better adamantine pants, in case she wears adamantine socks.
