Fortunately, since I live in Michigan, he lives roughly on the complete opposite side of the states from me. I could skip town and go to Canada at a moments notice if anything ever did come up though.

What is A-kon 20?

A-Kon is the annual big honking anime/gaming/weirdos convention in Dallas.  This is the 20th anniversary, so there's bound to be a party, and I'm going with a couple friends who are way too into Ghost in the Shell and catgirls.  They brought me along to A-Kon 18 a couple years ago, which I happily attended to meet Howard Tayler and Scott Ramsoomair.
