Graphics and char. sets
« on: March 28, 2009, 05:20:08 am »

I'm looking for a good, fun, character set that can still be run in windowed mode and doesn't slow up so much. Mayday Green's sets are too massive for my laptop and run slowly, though I do like this style and would want something similar.

I'm a fan of Dorten's 9x9 myself, though I'd prefer an 8x8.(There's a few, but I really like the diagonal corners of Dorten's)  Makes the math a little funny, though.  I'm obsessive about keeping pixels un-distorted.

One of these days, I'll probably put together my own 8x8 that includes diagonal or rounded corners and modify the numbers 1-7 so that they look more like liquids, so I can keep the watery look while still maintaining my flow amounts.

Yes, actually, I am trying to get myself banned.  I wish Toady would quit working on this worthless piece of junk and go back to teaching math.
