the ultimate challange
« on: March 28, 2009, 12:19:42 am »

start any where with any equipment but with one dwarf with no eyes
i did this on accident with a bad run in with a fire imp at the beginning of a new fort and with the way the world gen went there is no dwarves on the map
so far she is miserable, hungry, thirsty, drowsy, and she keeps passing out when ever she tries to drink or eat i hope she lives

Might be a bit easier if you mod the dwarves to have no eyes so they don't pass out. Or would that leave them able to see still?

[NO_PAIN] might be what you're looking for.

Good thing that dwarves don't actually use their eyes to path around your fortress or do work. I suggest a tough regimen of mining to toughen her up, and hopefully make her better able to withstand the pain. If she survives, she deserves an epic tomb.
