That is the best lolcat.  EVER.  No other lolcat will ever be better.  Or cuter.

It's from a long-ago time when captioned images and pictures of cats weren't the sole domain of humorless morons.

I know.  It's one of the first lolcats I ever saw.

I also liked the one on the same page;  "get the f*** out of my base!"  with a cat in a box attacking another cat.  I'm aware that it was referencing a Starcraft Battlenet occurrence, just to be clear.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

Thanks for the input and compliments!

I've updated the ramp tiles, although I think they still need more work.

Also, here's what chasms look like with the new version of the graphics set:

Stupid gremlin, messing up my pretty screenshot of antmen, ratmen, and a giant bat.  Oh well, his time will come soon  :)

Those screenshots are pretty cool (although PNG will avoid the nasty JPEG artifacts that tend to mar DF screenshots).  I'll have to show this to some Zelda-loving friends who find DF hard to get into.

I was just perusing the mod section when this caught my eye. Mad props man, this looks fantastic. If I ever get back into DF, this will be the tileset I'll use.

Until I was testing out my changes today I hadn't realized that vermin apparently can't be given sprites.  If this is not the case, or if there is some hack to get around this, please do let me know.

In place of vermin, the graphics set now has most of the semi-megabeasts, megabeasts, and demons.

Anyway, vermin not having graphics has some interesting consequences; apparently Armos statues are now aquatic:

Too bad wild animals don't hunt each other.  I would very much like to see the Zoras run down and eat the Armos-jellyfish.

Unfortunately this is correct.  Vermin can only use the tile assigned to them in the creature raws.

I'm pretty sure they have them in the mayday set...

maybe I just didn't notice.

Mayday is just sneaky and has put the sprites in the tileset.

Seconded on Mayday. Excellent tileset, and the creator has worked around all limitations that I'm aware of. Fish, vermin, and birds actually look like fish, vermin, and birds. Couldn't hurt to re-use the excellent lizard and cockroach tiles.
