Edit: Still creating the Drunks and walking them to the little town (Anguishwork) we will set off from. I'm pretty sure we'll end up depopulating a few caves pretty quickly and/or head south and destroy the various heathen southlands, once we get started.

Is there a way to make Kobolds speak english temporarily? You can't recruit someone who you can't talk to.

You could try giving them [Can_Speak] in the creatures.txt raws, but it might not work because you might have to reboot the game. If it dosn't work, just change me to being an elf.

[Can_Speak] will be off, and the world will not need rebooting, as its a small change, incindentally kobolds>elves.
