I looked at this map with reveal.exe, is anyone interested in the results? Or has someone already done it?

dpending on who you downloaded the map from ,the stone can be slightly different because of rabndom SEED variations... So even if the map is physically Identical, your REVEAL of ore and stone may be different then others

I'm curious if you can see the underground pool in reveal. There seems to be no sign of it from anyone.

In the map I got there was only an undergroudn river, no pool.

Correct. The pool should be one tile southwest of the pit and the river two tiles. I've found the river, but not the pool - and I show a pool on my embark screen just as is seen in the original post here.

An Elven Caravan shows up, and they get about halfway to my fort when this happens.

They got slaughtered, and I got all their goods for free!  And then the next year, they show up again!  They manage to make it to my Depot this time... But as they're heading home, guess what happens!

This group of Goblins was lead by a Human.  When will the silly elves learn that NO other civilization wants them around?

Oddly enough, every single Dwarf and Human caravan has never run into any trouble at all.

Praise these goblins for theyre goodness.

you need to make a giant goblin holding an elven head as a statue to show the elves that you support the goblins. maybe then theyll leave you alone.

or make a dwarf cut down a tree as a statue then youll get elven sieges in notime.

Is it normal for the Cave River to have a small, round chasm at its end? If so, this map just got 17% more awesome.

By the way, the Cave River is on the 2nd z-level from the bottom, and is located around the center of the very bottom of the map. I'll upload a screenshot in a second.

Also; has anyone found any iron yet? I can't go much longer with a few wrestlers and stonefall traps being the only thing between the goblins and my fort...

I've heard there are many magnetite deposits, which part of the map has them?

I've found plenty of hematite.

I also found the underground river (it's very short and appears from nowhere) but it was in a part that I used reveal.exe for, and now I am not getting towercaps Is there anyway of enabling tower-cap growth afterwards? I just muddied a big area to get trees (I have too few and those darn traders only bring like 4 logs each time they come) and I'm not getting any.
