if you want to make sure that you do/don't have flux you can check the stone section under the z screen. If you havn't changed any of them, then if you have flux that stone will be green instead of red

Yeah, no dice.  Guess I'll go back to genning my own worlds and looking for that stuff.  Might do one final flood the fortress event or something before.

You select it from the design using paramateters

I used create new world and whole make covered with marble and is all savage. Use the create world with parameters how you do it?

Create world with parameter's works if you use copy parameter.

I've been cheated.There's no chasm, magma, or a undeground river. I searched but I got all on one place different then your's and mined the whole map and none of those features are there.(I mined it that fast with 7 miners,)

You dug out an entire 6x6 region in under an hour with only 7 dwarves?

Someone uploaded a savefile to the dffd somewhere earlier in the thread you can download where the world is already correctly generated for you.

The seed information gets pasted at the end of data\init\world_gen.txt. Then you start up dwarf fortress and go to Design New World with Parameters. After that you pick the very bottom option (in this case, it should be the second Medium entry unless you changed the name). It'll gen the world and you'll end up with something that is probably 98%(Different ores is common) exactly alike the original.

Oh i kept using large and getting same spot with same stuff just not there.

Edit:It's not dwarf heaven more life a dwarf blender only way for my dwarves to get down the mountain is through cave spider web or 50 rat men and 50 trogs. Reclaim is the only way to live.

I've been thinking about the flux problem with the site, If you were to change the history seed wouldn't it just gen a whole new civilization on the same map thus giving your neighbor civs teh flux?
