1: I was thinking braille. Or somehow make it run on an abacus. Better yet, replace your mouse with an intricate Rubix Cube that must be reassembled in a different specific combination, every time you perform an action.

2: Gives new meaning to the words "Dwarf Fortress". Also makes me want to see tactical and strategic immune system wars going on.

3: So...from a device that would periodically kick you in the scrotum, every time a dwarf dies...you guys are getting some sort of sexual vibe?

I have noticed a rather mixed reaction with microcline, but what do people think of olivine?
Oh I love olivine.  I think dark green furniture makes the fortress tasteful.

How about randomly scrambling all the keys every minute to simulate... Uh... The evolving language making dwarves misinterpret your orders? And instead of crawling past each other in narrow hallways, the dwarves could be trampled to death. And make all dwarves just move around randomly instead of doing whatever they're supposed to be doing.

On the topic of the actual topic, language selection sounds like a fine thing to add, along with the other interface stuff that will arrive some time after the Space Elevator. And making dwarven a selectable language would be just great, if it ever becomes extensive enough for that.

Do they sell braille screens? I was thinking some sort of electromagnetic system where each pixel is a seperate pillar of metal that can be pushed out, just hope someone doesn't make a virus to shoot the pillar-pixels at people.
