There are far too many Penguin avatars.

The forum has collapsed into chaos with Inaluct gone. So many people have changed their avatar to a penguin or some variation thereof, It's downright disturbing.

I don't know why either, something's happening in VN that's crazy, and it's causing everyone to go crazy also and pick up penguin avatars. That's how I understand it.

So I ask everyone: Please be normal again.

I think we're all in agreement that it's from boredom.

We all joined this forum to talk about Dwarf Fortress.  We all stick around down here in the Nonsense area because we entertain each other.  We've all played the hell out of Dwarf Fortress as it stands, but we're compulsive forumers who need something to talk about.  So now we've started a crazy of oneupmanship trying to out-crazy each other.

My sense is that this war/allegiance/leadership stuff is getting old and recognized as such.  At any rate, we just need something to do.

Twice. And this is because I ditched the fugly photoshop penguin for the MS Paint one.

I only accepted mine because it was made... FOR ME.

And it isn't some insulting thing either,it was made without me asking,it was a gift.

I've changed mine back. Maybe I'll add it to my sig, and be the only one with a sig-pic.

I love my avatar just the way it is...(O.K. it would be better if it weren't distorted) No penguins are needed for me.
Now that Karlito changed his avatar, I'm actually thinking of changing it to this gentlemanly Stumpy-wumple:


Also, the VN game is getting old for me as well. Strife: There are about four or five people here with sig pictures, you just need to turn them on in the forum viewing settings. I made mine with DFpaint...

I'm quite happy as it is with my avatar.

Though in truth, I'm not REALLY as obsessed with Warhammer 40K as you might think, and all the humour is starting to dry up. The awesomeness never will, but sometimes, to much Green is...to much.

And don't get me started about Red.

The 34 was a great tank and all, but I don't like the look. I was considering the 35 for a long while though
