The elves are underneath the dwarf, there are just no words to describe how wrong that it. The elves should be in front of the dwarf, who should be firing her gattling gun perfectly ordinary crossbow...

DF needs more sci-fi Dwarfs.
Somehow I imagine Dwarfs being very good at combining complex machinery and magical stuff into schizo tech-like stuff.

It's short, it's bearded, it's awesome. Those are the genre-less characteristics of true Dwarfkind, anything else is just that universe's interpretation.
