First post updated with upcoming games, player lists, and game details.

Also, Org, it would be run in RPTools, which you can launch directly from their website without downloading, or can download it and run it from the desktop. I don't think we can insert a Java object into a forum post to play the game, though, so we can't really play directly on the forum.

Here are a few screenshots of the program we'll hopefully be running it in:

The shaded areas show obscured areas that the PCs have no Line-of-Sight to. Normally, areas the PCs cannot see will be completely obscured, but this shot was taken in DM mode. Other modes of vision (low-light vision, tremorsense, etc.) can be configured as well, and it handles darkness and light-sources.

This shows how PCs and Monsters move. Units have different speeds, which give them a maximum amount of squares of movement per turn. Map Tool enforces rules with solid objects, such as walls, and does simple pathfinding, though you can specify waypoints if you want to move a different way.

FoboslC has the server hosted.  Join any time, earlier is better.  We'll be starting in about a half hour.

To log in, you'll need to start up Maptool.  When it has loaded, click File->Connect to Server.
Enter your username and leave the password field blank.  Make sure you select "Player" from the drop down list of roles.
Go to the "Direct" tab, and enter the following information.

After we all worked out how to use Map Tool, the game went really well. Good game all, and thanks again to Cerej for putting the campaign together!

I noticed a lot of people complaining about long turns, though. For the next time, I have a few suggestions for helping speed things up, and keeping the game running smoothly:

 1) We have a second Chat Window open for OOC chat. We would have to use another program, like IRC or Trillian. That would keep combat and story logs easier to check (we won't lose important details, etc.), and would help fight message lagging for slower comps.

 2) Create Power Macro sets for each player, with pre-programed combat rolls, skill checks, and common commands (/ooc for out-of-character, /whisper and /reply, common dice rolls, etc.)

 3) Import Character Sheets, Ability and Skill scores, Power Card images, and Feats, into Map Tool for us to refer to easily, and even lay down on the field so everyone can reference them. Each player can have a folder with their Character Resources in them too, so others can refer to their abilities should they have a question.

3 is not possible, soli. People have to do it themselves, since the map tool, is, wel,, for map.
Well, You can make custom tokens and make custom macros, so I don see what the problem is

In my opinion, a very helpful thing - would be to decide what you're going to do on your turn, before your turn starts.

Actually, you can import character sheets and information in the form of Image files, which can then be viewed by the DM and players, and even dragged out onto the map area so they can be referenced by everyone (works for prop-images as well).
