40d9 Mike Mayday mod

Okay, i installed 40D, and I used the latest mike maday graphic set.  However, the gems and diamonds that used to show up no longer have any icon, and the unmined gem show as a blank grey square, while the mined gems show as a black square, totally undefinable from the black unknown squares.  In previous versions, they had thier own icons. Did i do somethign wrong when i unzipped the versions on top of one another?

Yes. That.

Make a new 'install' of 40d9 (just unzip 40d9, and only 40d9, somewhere else.)
Copy the /data/art and /raw folders over to the new 40d9 folder.
Copy the graphics portion of your init file over to the new 40d9 init file.
