Not as practical as the Desert Eagle.
Not that they are practical anyway.

Correction, they are not practical at all.

The S&W .500 also will not break your wrist as long as you hold it properly, the small muzzle brake and weight make that difficult. It also is NOT the most powerful handgun in the world, as there are pistols out there chambered in .500 nitro express. That's a fucking elephant gun round, not a wimpy little necked down .50 BMG.

Alas, I was referring to the Desert Eagles.

Also exaggeration is a tool I like to use often and frequently, perhaps even repeatedly.

Oh, oops! I guess I let the gun nut in me out by accident.

No problem, happens to the best of us. I'm actually thankful we have so many gun nuts here.

Screw guns. I've got some land mines I stashed after the war in Bosnia. Makes hunting a lot less tedious as you don't have to stand around and wait.

That sounds ridiculously dangerous.

Back to the main topic- i'm guessing that was a fairly tight choke, so it should come as no surprise that if you shoot slugs out of it, the muzzle will be damaged.  Also chokes are not the same as a plug, which i believe is what MB was testing.  (a choke allows the bullet to pass without its removal, whereas a plug is forced out the end before the bullet gets to that point of the muzzle, the problem comes when you have the slug passing through the choke in the muzzle, something has to give, and it isn't always the slug)

I'm tempted to post this other "Myth Busted" pic, but I probably shouldn't. :P

I don't get it. Also, that girl on the right is too skinny for her own good.

The hand on that girl on the left is HORRIFYING.  That's like some "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" shit right there.

Yeah, but then you get whatever that forgettable British knock-off was.  Or Crashlab, which I think is already canceled.

I think it's the cast themselves that makes the show great.  There've been a half-dozen shows like MythBusters since it came out, and none were anywhere near as good, because they didn't have Adam and Jamie.

Brainiac came before Mythbusters, goddamnit!
