What kind of shotgun is it that you have?
It looks like the mossberg 500 that I've been saving money for.

I don't know exactly, my father got it from a pawn shop.  But my recollection says Mossberg is right.

Ah, worry is gone.
If you got it from a pawn shop, well, god only knows what could've screwed up on it.
I was thinking it was directly from a shop and your the first owner, which made me start flipping the fuck out because that looks almost exactly like the one I'm saving money for.

Hmm, thats one type of gun Scotland does allow... shotguns. Bet you all never knew that.

And Mythbusters, I'm guessing, prolly does do alot of testing of stuff, scientific repititions and all zat. I have quarrels with them.

Wrong. They do that. You just don't see it on the telly. For every episode there's about 60-70 hours of work that you don't get to see.

Or so I've heard.

I would greatly love having a high quality version of that Russian (German?) gyrojet pistol.

But aren't the bullets really expensive?

Anyway, elephant guns > every other rifle. Ever.

Even shotguns (yes, I know).

If this isn't the biggest REAL hand-held gun in the world, I don't know what is.

I'm pretty damn sure punt guns aren't hand-held.  There's a museum near my hometown with a whole lotta them.  The displays always gave me the impression that those things were meant to be fired from mounts, even the "small" ones.

They're about that size, give or a take a bit.

Elephant guns require three guys to shoot them, two to hold them and one to aim and fire. I've heard that more people died firing them than elephants killed by the guns.

Would you mind linking to an example of such a gun?  "Elephant gun" is a pretty imprecise term, but most rifles given that label were certainly meant to be fired by a single person

It takes one man to carry, aim AND fire it.
