23,000 still counted as "paltry".

So exactly how much do you need to get beyond that?

To get beyond paltry.... way more than you should spend the time collecting with the game in the stage it's in now.   More levels of income meaning something will be included in ED2 as well.

As far as veins go, there aren't any right now.  I spent my seven days adding in the stone layers and minerals to find and didn't have enough time to make them appear in veins and clusters, again this is something that ED2 (which won't have a time limit on programming it) will feature.

I'll have to check out Motherlode, see if there's any ideas there I haven't had that are worth stealing referencing.

On further thought... perhaps I'll call the lack of score ranges (right now there are two) a bug and add a few more in the upcoming bug fix.

lol, add that to the bug list, leftover code from Quarker, my unfinished long term rogue-like game.  Sadly there is no way to close it without ending the game, but that will get fixed tonight along with the other bug fixes.

I think I'm going to throw in an option to suicide, and change the number of levels generated while I'm at it.  But bug fixes first.

It's fun, but you should remember the maps of levels you've been on instead of replacing them with the map of the most recent level you've been on. It's very confusing.

I have this problem too - actually, its really confusing the way it works. If you go down a level, and then go up a level, you see the map from a different level. It changes and updates as you move around, so the areas you can see are right but everything else is wrong. In addition moving up and down levels seems to randomly destroy the tunnels you've created in a rather arbitrary manner, and since your map is always wrong once you go up a level it means things get really confusing really quick.

Hm, that seems to make more sense... I'll see if I can recreate that bug so I can fix it...

Is it reproducible? I haven't heard it yet, but I'll look into that.

If you ever need a review-thing, you can quote me as calling it orgasmic.

Also, I found this:

Ceiling being labeled as floor means you've dug out the space above you and made it into flooring.  I don't have channeling, so there will always be something above you, well except on the top level.  I could probably give it a better name than just floor though...

On the selling bug, is it every single time you sell? Can you post a screenshot?  Did you know that when the top screen says [more] you have to hit space to continue? (that's a rogue-like standard but I should have it in the documentation since I can't fairly expect everyone to know).

no I did not know, thank you that fixes the problem, it was unsettling to not be able to move.
