Arquas: Two inhabitable planets: Arquas prime and Arquas 2.
Arquas prime is a grainshed. It produces enough food to feed the whole neighbourhood, and has a low technology level.
It is orbited by a governmental spacestation.
Arquas 2 is a desert-class planet. It can -just- provide it's own food, and produces spices.
Berriden: No inhabitable planets. Two inhabited structures, Berriden manufacturing and Free enterprisers.
Berriden manufacturing is the biggest industrial facility in the neighbourhood. It is privately owned, but supports the government. It has a high tech level.
Free enterprisers is the second largest industrial facility. It is also privately owned, and leans towards pirates. It has a lower tech level than Berriden manufacturing.
Cyclops: No inhabitable planets. Two inhabited structures, C1 COMMERCIAL CENTRAL and Smuggles.
C1 is a highly regulated governmental spacestation. It taxes all imports and exports of the Cyclops neighbourhood. It has a super-high tech and government level.
Smuggles is a privately owned spacestation. It openly supports the government, but it is known that pirates use it to enter and leave the system. It has a medium-high tech level.
Darksun: Darksun is the brightest sun in the neighbourhood. But it's name is not in irony, the high amounts of radiation expelled by Darksun scramble long range messages and slow space travel. There is one planet inhabitable planet orbiting darksun, darkplanet.
Darkplanet produces fuel cells. The entire surface is covered in solar panels. It has a high tech level.
There are more objects orbiting darksun, pirate dens and drug plants. But these can not be found, save by those who know where they are. Compasses won't help neither.
Earth Beta: 2 inhabitable planets, one inhabitable moon. Earth 2, Mars 2, and europa 2.
Earth 2 is the capital of the cyclops neighbourhood. Much military, much government, high tech.
Mars 2 provides rare metals to earth 2. It is a poor planet though, because the mines of Fergus are much more productive.
Europa 2 orbits a large gas giant. It is used as a chemical plant for the Cyclops neighbourhood. The atmosphere is toxic, the frozen seas are toxic, and the rain is corrosive. It has a high tech level out of necessity.
Fergus: one inhabitable planet, Fergus prime.
Fergus prime is a water world. It produces food, but serves primarily as housing for the miners of the fergusian asteroid belt.
The fergus asteroid belt is the largest, richest belt ever encountered by man. It produces all the metal the neighbourhood needs, and then some, which is exported. Your ship is made of fergusian steel.
