Just so you know, each turn only goes for about 3 or 4 hours. This should be plenty of time for you to get somewhere if you have transportation and also should let you plan stuff out. Remember to post how you proceed!
Katsuun:
Shaking yourself, you enter the construction site at a walking pace. Through the rain, you can't see much but its obvious that there isn't anything here. As you walk forward, you sudden;y remember to watch where you walk as the rain could have filled up a hole in the ground and make it look like a puddle! You remember this just as you are about to step into a puddle. You pull back hastily and look at the puddle, not being able to tell if its a hole or not. You find out when you drop a nearby fist sized rock into it and it dissapears from sight with a plop. Close one.
Walking around all the puddles, you make it to a trailer of sorts and try to look through the window. Its dark and quiet in there and you can't see anything moving but you pull your knife out nonetheless and brace yourself for an immediate attack. You fling the door open and stand in the doorway, knife ready, but nothing emerges. Thinking that the dark isn't a nice place right now, you pull the lighter from your pocket and flick it into life. The small flame shows that the place is in a decent shape and looks like some sort of planning room since there are all sorts of papers lying all over hte place. You can't translate what they mean but theye have diagrams of some parts of the building outside. Looks like this was gonna be a small appartment complex. You put your knife away and find a light switch, which you flick on and a bare light bulb in the roof flares into life. You extinguish the lighter and put it back in your pocket before deciding to leave the small caravan.
There appears to be no tools on the ground, the builders must have put them somewhere you rationalize and you look around and spot a shed! You make your way over to it, avoiding the puddles and try to open the door.
"Damn, it's locked. Tidy and careful builders, who would have thought it?"
You need a key to get into the shed. You turn around and survey the site once again wondering where it could be.
Shikogan:
You pull your trusty gun out and hold it in front of you as you go deeper into the coffee shop. The rain is loud outside and you can't really hear anything moving, so you will just have to rely on sight. You walk up to the counter and look over it, trying to see if there is anything on the other side and see nothing. Just a dirty floor. Vaulting over the counter, you look around you and when seeing nothing else, you proceed towards a doorway in the wall.
Looking through it, it appears that you have entered a kitchen like area. There are a few ovens, some toaster like things and two metal doors leading elsewhere. Nothing moves and you proceed brazenly into the kitchen just in time for you to hear a clanging come from another doorway you didn't notice before!
"Hmmm, not so unoccupied as I thought..."
You proceed a bit more cautiously this time to the doorway, gun in hand, and spring around the corner to see a man in a black apron swing around and shout:
"DON'T SHOOT ME! I'M ALIVE!"
He is holding a shoulder bag and a kitchen knife in his hands, the bag obviously bulging with stuff. You take a quick look around you and see that you are in a storage cupboard of sorts.
"If this is your place, I'm sorry that I'm taking your stuff and I won't be any trouble! I promise! I just need some things!"
You keep your gun on the man and wonder what to do next.
Webadict:
You reason that better footwear is always a good thing and after looking at the source of the suspicious noises in the newstand, you enter the shoe store.
The place is a mess, there are shoes, boots, some socks, carboard boxes and papers everywhere! It is a bit distressing to your shoppaholic spirit to see such a wonderful place in ruin but you pull yourself back to reality. You need to stay alert! You proceed to the back of the store, where the counter is as well as a door leading further back, and check for people and bodies. There is none there and you stay positive that this place somehow escaped pretty much untouched. You try to open the door heading back but its locked.
"Damn, I won't be getting through that without a key."
You decide to leave it for later and check the floor and shelves for some hiking boots and a pair of running shoes. On the spur of the moment, you also look for ice skates, shoe laces and some shoe soles, of which you find plenty of shoe laces, plenty of shoe soles and no ice skates. You put 10 shoe laces and 10 shoe soles in your pack. You also find a decent pair of running shoes easily enough and put them in your pack for later. You can't find any hiking boots though, perhaps in the back?
You stand by the counter and wonder how to get through that door.
Strife26:
Thinking that you need things more than these poor fellows, you search the bodies and only find a letter opener which you discard.
"Damn. Nothing useful. Better make sure that they aren't going anywhere though."
You stomp on the dead guys heads until they look like balls of broken mush and say a quick prayer for their souls.
"Poor bastards. I hope I won't become one."
Leaving the bloody office, you go to the center office, the one which you woke up in, and shut the door. You see that there is a desk in here and you manage to drag it over to the door and shove it in front. You lean on the desk and look out the window, taking a breather once again. You really need those meds...
Shoruke:
Reasoning that the best place for a master key for the hotel is the front desk, you head back to the foyer and look behind it. Suprise suprise, there is a key hanging on a hook with a tag on it that says 'Master Key'.
"Sweet. This will definately come in handy."
You snatch the key from it's hook and decide that the best place for exploring the hotel would be from the bottom up. And whats at the bottom? The basement of course. You head back into the narrow corridor behind the desk and proceed down it and take a turn right, oppisite your door, and see a door marked basement. Its locked, but is no match for your master key and you use it easily enough and open the door.
Its dark in there. Very dark. Pitch black almost and you can't make out anything. Thinking that a light switch would be close to the door, you feel around the doorway and find one. Flicking it on, you see a bare bulb flare to life from the basement roof and you see a full view of the basement. Its walls are made from brick and there is all sorts of junk lying around. Its also flooded a bit from the massive downpour outside and you see that the stairs are wooden and narrow. Good thing you found that light switch, you would have tripped and fallen had you gone down in the dark.
There are two doors leading elsewhere, one is open slightly, and you see a body lying on the floor in the center of the small room, admist of all the junk. You look at it uncertainly and wonder what to do.
Org:
Thinking that this place had nothing else to offer, you decide its time to move on and look at the map you have. You decide to head for the nearest cabin, which is about... ohhh... 2 kilometers away though normal forest. You put the map away after seeing that there should be a path leading there close by this cabin and grip your rifle tightly. You edge the door open and look around for what you now call zombies. Seeing nothing through the rain, you decide that its now or never and you sneak out the door, shutting it behind you without much noise. Best to not take too many chances.
You make your way cautiously westward roughly, judging by the sun, and find the path that would lead you to the cabin. You happily step on it and proceed to follow it into the forest. After walking a while, you spot something moving on the path! You point your rifle at it but the rain makes it hard to get a clear shot of what ever it is. You decide to stick to the path, knowing how easy it could be to get lost in these woods, and stalk along the path in a half crouch. You soon see what is moving, its one of those crazy people, but this one has lost a leg. Its squirming on the ground and you could have easily missed it if you weren't looking. It hasn't seen you and is heading across the path slowly.
You try to come up with a plan but the trees unsettle you somehow and you are a bit nervous of your surroundings. What now?
