Ok ok, I'll update. Katsuun will just follow Webadict for now to make things simpler.
Strife26:
You think that this place may be a decent place for a weapon of sorts, but you should clear it out first. So you go around quickly for you hear the advancing horde behind you getting closer and find nothing but a dead man behind the counter which you promptly curb stomp a few times. You found that the bar has a back enterance that appears to be empty of zombies and seems to be right next to a dinner of some sort judging by the lights. The bar has two bathrooms, both pretty dirty and bare, a locked door that must lead to storage judging from the sign that says 'Storage' that is attached to the door, and the main room which is the largest room you have access to. It is about 10 meters long and 10 meters wide roughly. There is a pool table near the center of the room, the counter is in the corner by the bathrooms, the back door and the storage room. There are a few booths for sitting and drinking along the opposite wall and there is about 10 bar stools.
You think that surely a bar like this must have a firearm of some sort. You search the only place where it would logically be located: behind the counter. And the gods smile upon you, you find a double barrel, break open shotgun. Bad news though, there's a sturdy gun lock on the trigger, you can't use it like it was intended to be used. You carry it anyway though. You find about 20 shotgun shells in a box with it below the counter which you shove in your backpack. Happy at your new find nonetheless, you take a look around you and find no evidence of knives here (why would a bar need one?) and the only weapon that you could use are the bottles of alcohol on the wall behind the counter. You smash the glass cabinet holding the bottles open with the butt of the shotgun and pickup 4 bottles of whisky and vodka. You figure that since you could use them as molotovs later, you take 4 rags that hang under the bar with you and put them all in your backpack.
You shift the pack to a better position on your back and whip around when you hear multiple crashes. Zombie arms are poking through the windows on the front! You look nervously at the door and see that it won't hold for much longer. You better move fast...
Twiggie, Vanigo and Archangel:
Asa tearfully explains his version of the events that made him a wanted person to Simmons, but he won't listen.
"I have more important things to worry about right now than you blubbering in my face. Things like surviving the night! Look, I'm sorry that this happened to you, but I have no choice in the matter, you mess up once and you will stay in a cell. That's it."
Asa calms down and volunteers to clear out the garage, but is refused to do so by Simmons.
"I'm afraid that it won't be as simple as you think. It's too dangerous down there, the place is packed with the bastards. It's an underground lot you see, the enterance is open to the street directly. The rotting assholes just wandered down and more followed and aren't leaving anytime soon. The enterance can be closed by a metal grate, but the grate controls are in the lot itself and we forgot to lower the grate until it was too late. We lost 2 men down there and I personally think that it's not safe even for 4 armed people. What chance will you stand if you go down there alone? None. I'm sorry but we need to all stay alive to be useful, not suicidal."
Mat decides to sleep for a bit and does so right in the foyer on a bench. It's not the best bed, but it will do for now.
Jake on the other hand decides to make a bonfire of corpses infront of the gate, he heads outside and speaks to the officer standint guard there.
"A bonfire you say? Not a bad idea I guess, but theres a problem, we don't have any fuel to start it. The gas is all in the garage and we won't send anyone down there because the place is packed with zombies. You can feel free to make a wall from the corpses though, that may help as they are just about as heavy as a sandbag for each body. I don't envy you for the task though."
Jake sighs in regret and decides to settle for moving the corpses outside in a rough wall. Officer Brent arrives from his patrol and sees what Jake is doing and volunteers to help. He also comes up with the idea of keeping some corpses inside the fence to put up against the back of the gate to stop it from being pushed in.
Some time later, there is a rough wall of bodies in a semi-circle around the outside of the gate, reaching waist height and it is about 2 bodies thick so it shouldn't move easily, and a pile of bodies inside the gate, ready for moving. You both searched the bodies but found only 6 bits of cloth, a empty lighter and a pair of leather gloves that are in nice condition.
Looking up from your work, you are suprised to see 3 people running towards you shouting! Brent whips his gun up at them but you stop him shooting them when you see in the failing light that one is carrying a shotgun, most unzombie like, and they are being chased by a group of at least 20 real zombies.
"SHIT! Get over here!"
They rush up to the wall and vault over and stand next to you and Brent as the unnamed cop standing guard readies hus gun calmly and yells to the station that they are under attack. Asa and a slightly sleepy Mat hears his yells as well as Simmons, and he runs over to a staircase leading upstairs and yells up it:
"Casey, Jack, get your asses down here now! It's an attack on the gate!"
He pulls a large mean looking pistol out of his holster and charges outside yelling to take defensive positions.
You have only moments before the zombies reach the wall. What do you do?
Org:
"Hey, can you talk?"
The man murmurs a bit before opening his eyes. You give him a bit more water and he gulps it down quickly. He nods his thanks to you again before resting a bit.
"Hey. How did you get like this?"
The man takes a deep breath before speaking. His voice cracks and you give him more water, which he drinks again, and he talks in a slightly hoarse voice.
"A creature did this to me. I don't know what it was, it came out of nowhere, but I have never seen anything like it, and I've seen a lot lately."
"Can you describe it? How did it attack you, for example?"
"It just came out of everywhere. EVERYWHERE! *cough* Stuff with spikes on it came from above and behind us. I was with two other people, I remember their screams. Then thin ropey stuff came from infront of us unexpectedly. One guy got caught and was stuck to it, like a fly in a web. I tried to cut it, but it was like hitting a string made from steel. He got pulled up into the trees, never saw him again. The girl suddenly couldn't walk, her feet were caught in... things... things that looked like roots, but with spikes on them... the spikes had pushed through her feet and a pit opened underneath her."
The man shudders violently and coughs a bit of blood. His injuries seem worse than you thought.
"It was horible. Unspeakable. The trees themselves seemed to bend infront of me, trying to stop me, but I ducked under their clutches and jumped over their grabs. I ran into a clearing and the very grass started to slice at my shoes! Sawing at my feet! I ran further and saw more of the sticky ropey stuff in my way. I... *cough* *cough*... I ran around what was in my way and when I was clear of them, I looked back."
His eyes widen with horror as he recalls what he saw. His breathing gets faster, more stressed, and his coughts more frequent and grating.
"There... *COUGH* was a beast! A-a-a thing that moved through the ropes like they weren't even there! *HACK* I ran faster than I ever did in my life, through the trees, but something grabed my legs! *HACK* *COUGH* I hit them with my knife, but it was like they were made from cast steel! The spikes were all over my legs, blood everywhere, I was screaming and the beast finally caught me..."
The man suddenly vomits blood over the edge of the bed, onto the floor. It looks strange but you turn your attention back to the man.
"It hit me like a run-away freight train. I *Cough* flew into a tree, hit it hard I think, broke something at least, and *cough* everything went quiet. I thought it would come after me, but it didn't. I crawled for I don't know how long *cough* until you found me."
The man is starting to gasp for breath now and you realise that he's dying.
"I hate to say this, but *cough* I fear that it followed me. Waiting for me to bleed out and then, I don't know what it does to it's food, but I *cough* bet that it's not nice. You're in for one wild night..."
He vomits more blood then slumps back and lays still. You are still shocked by the sudden death of this poor man and you only realise that there is something wrong with the blood on the floor. It's turning a sickly yellow. You back away quickly and grab your rifle, quite frightened by this development, and you wonder why it's doing that.
You take a deep breath and grip your rifle tighter. What do you now?
Shoruke:
No use going back you reason with yourself. The plant will still be there and I'll just bring the snakes along for the ride. Better to go forward.
"Go to the firehouse! It's our only hope!"
You push the man ahead and you both run down the street, taking a look to check on the speed of the snakes. They are moving faster than you thought, so you run harder and pull the man along with you.
You come to an intersection and you see MORE snakes coming from ahead!
"Oh come on! Where do they come from?!"
You run left, roughly going towards the antenae on the roof of the firehouse. You keep running, dodging the occasional zombie and making another molotov as you run, pushing the man onwards. Suddenly you make a wrong turn and you face a deadend. You whip around hoping to run back out but the snakes were too fast and have you cornered! You look around quickly since the snakes have slowed down are slowly approaching and you see that you are in between two appartment buildings. Theres a dumpster to your right, two trashcans alongside it, a rusted fire escape with no ladder to your left that connects to the building and there is a high brick wall behind you that even with you standing on the shoulders of the man, you couldn't reach.
You better think fast.
Webadict and Katsuun:
"Well, its getting dark, so if we are gonna head to the station, we better leave." Kimberly states.
"You're right, I know the way from here and we should make it to the station before they close the gates for the night. We have to run though and leave now." Matt replies thoughtfully.
Kimberly and Matt climb out of the window and stand on the street. Matt looks in at Hikari and says:
"You're welcome to come with us, we always need more help at the station."
"I suppose that it's better than being alone. I could always leave later."
Hikari hops out after you and you all start to jog after Matt. You are quiet as you run, focusing on running, and it's because of this silence that Kimberly notices the zombies in the side alleys that they are running past.
"Uh guys?"
"I know, I see them too. Just don't make any loud noises and we'll be fine."
CLANG CLANG CLANG!
You all freeze and look at Hikari who has a guilty look after accidently kicking a trashcan lid.
"RUN!"
You all bolt at the same time that the zombies swarm out after you, scrambling frantically over a car, sprinting after Matt who leads the way.
"We are close! It should be around this corner!" Matt yells back to you both as he runs ahead a bit.
You round the corner and relief fills you both as you see the friendly sight of the police station. There are three men at the gate, two taking a break from building a wall of corpses around the outside of the gate. All of them react and one who is acting as a sentry yells back to the station. One of them, who isn't a police officer, yells for you all to run over there to safety. You all speed up and vault the corpse wall and stand next to the officers and man. Another older officer runs out of the station with a handgun and stops next to you and the officers get ready to repel the attack with Matt next to them drawing his gun.
You have a few moments until the zombies reach the wall. What do you do?
GLOBAL EVENT!!!: The sun has fully set at the end of the turn. Any street lights that aren't already on and are in working order flick on to illuminate the streets. Howls echo across the entire city.
Now I just have to update the stats.
