Yes. We're doing Werewolf.
1. Werewolves - Maul everyone.
2. Watchman - If the werewolves attempt to kill a person the night watchman is protecting, he will drive them off. Cannot watch himself.
3. Doctor - If the werewolves attempt to kill a person the doctor is standing by for, he will rush in and save them. Can save himself, but not if he's protecting someone else. Can also save lynchees.
4. Mayor - His votes count twice.
5. Detective - He can choose one person to follow during the night, and if they engage in any suspicious activity (such as suddenly sprouting fur and fangs, or going off to meet with other villagers during the night), he can report back to the villagers... or keep the information to himself.
6. Blind Man - The blind man cannot see, and so cannot even cry out when killed. However, he has the acute ability to hear everything discussed by werewolves and villagers alike.
7. Vigilante - Exacts his own justice during the night, based on his own leads. Can work together with the detective to bypass annoying votes altogether.
8. Mason - The masons know each other, and know each other to be noninfected. Starts as one recruiter, recruits townies. Dies if recruiting werewolf.
9. Civilian - Everyone else not in the categories above is a civilian.
1. Nurse - The nurse is the backup for the doctor. If the doctor dies, the nurse assumes their position the next night. They cannot use their ability the night they get it.
2. Sidekick - The sidekick is the backup for the detective. If the detective dies, the sidekick assumes their position the next night. They cannot use their ability the night they get it.
3. Lovers - Two people are randomly chosen to be the lovers. If one dies, the other will commit suicide. They must agree on lynchings.
4. Wolfsbane - Any werewolf trying to infect this villager will die.
5. Quack - Doctor that does not actually do anything. Believes he is the doctor.
1. At the start of the game, one fourth (rounded down) of the people joined will become werewolves. During the night, they will each kill one person. The werewolves can also pass their turn if they feel like they're gathering too much heat.
2. Each day the villagers will gather and discuss the murder. They will then decide who to lynch.
3. The identity of the person lynched is only revealed at the end of the game.
4. Identities can be revealed to people, but only through whispers (PMs).
5. If you want to PM someone, you have to run it through me first, and I'll decide if it's appropriate. I'll also channel the conversation between the werewolves.
6. The werewolves don't know who the other werewolves are, they only know that there are others.
7. Trust no one. Deceit and lies are rampant, and someone could be revealing a werewolf's identity, or merely shifting the blame onto someone else. Don't be quick to point fingers, or fingers will be pointed unto you.
8. Multiple whispers per day allowed. During the night everyone but the special professions are asleep, and cannot whisper then, either.
Any further questions may be PMed to me.
Also, there are a few game modes to pick from:
Last Words - Before murdered, a victim will have the chance to scream last words. They still don't know who killed them, though.
Know Your Allies - Werewolves know who werewolves are, and protective jobs like doctor and watchman are aware of each other. The mayor knows who everyone is, except the werewolves.
Secret Ballot - Ballots are PMed to me instead of being openly posted.
Dead Men Tell Tales - Enables a seer job, through whom which the dead can speak. Mostly just to bitch at you for killing them, but whatever.
No Lynch - Citizens can choose not to lynch anybody.
Factions - Werewolves are allowed to form multiple factions and fight amongst themselves. Only really fun in large games.
Infectious - Werewolves can choose to infect a person rather than kill them. Said infected has no idea who the other werewolves are until contacted. If this is put into play I can reduce starting amount of werewolves to one or two. An already infected werewolf will simply be tipped off to the other's existence.
God's Wrath - One player is considered a saint/prophet and if killed the killer is struck down with them.
Imprisonment - People are imprisoned instead of lynched. Unable to do anything or vote, but can still converse and be killed.
Vote for
two of the above to be enabled when you join.
Winning:a) The villagers win when all the werewolves are dead.
b) The werewolves win when their numbers equal the villagers' numbers, because then they can rise up and kill everyone with no worries. This can be done by murders and misguiding the lynchings, or infecting people if Infectious is on.
c) If Factions is on, the werewolves can only win by destroying all opposing factions. Villagers still win by destroying the werewolves.
Yes, I'll still be doing Foot Soldiers. I doubt this will take up much time.
