Oh... should I load up the mounted gun with AP rounds and switch it on?

So tempting!

I start assembling some little box buildings (think pillow fort but made of boxes) to shelter in if HAMMER gets inside the warehouse. These shall hopefully deflect some bullets.

I call up Stane and tell him I have a blueprint for an antigravity generator, and that I'd send him a copy of it if he could send the obtainable components outside of sheet metal.

Okay, I don't care if it attracts the helicopters, I need to fill an evil quota.

While sitting there in traffic, I load up the mounted gun with AP rounds and turn it on. Continue to HQ. Turn it off before I arrive so I don't shoot up the place.

Turn 47

Quote from: Mr.Roosts
I snap out of my trance.
(4) A blindingly bright light consumes the darkness around you, and moments later you awake with a start. You look around and find that you are lying in the back of the tank-car, and that Lucien is driving.
Quote from: Xen
I use telekenises to unlock the door of a truck and start the ignition, put the 1/4 of a mech leg on the back, securing it with telekentic power and drive to HQ.
(1) You find a truck parked near the junkyard and try to unlock it with you telekinesis, but no matter how much you try you can't do anything. It seems like your recent construction project really took its toll on you.
Quote from: Cheetahr
I start assembling some little box buildings (think pillow fort but made of boxes) to shelter in if HAMMER gets inside the warehouse. These shall hopefully deflect some bullets.
(6) Looking at all the boxes lying around you wonder if there is nothing useful that can be done with them, and soon get an idea. You start gathering all the boxes you can get your hands on, and then building ”forts” out of them. You end up with a half dozen ”boxforts”, positioned to allow for maximum coverage of the HQ, the protective value of wood and cardboard boxes is rather questionable however. (2) You have to sit down to rest for a while after all that exertion.
Quote from: Jim ”Hades” Ferse
I call up Stane and tell him I have a blueprint for an antigravity generator, and that I'd send him a copy of it if he could send the obtainable components outside of sheet metal.
(2) You call Stane from a nearby payphone and get right down to business. You inform him that you have the blueprints for an antigravity generator, and that you will send him a copy of them if he helps you get the components necessary to build it. He is very interested, and asks you to tell him what you need. But when you have done so he informs you that he will not be able to help. He took a considerable risk just getting the weapons to you, and getting nuclear material to you would be near impossible, especially with SHIELD patrolling the airspace above the city. And he also says that as far as he knows it would be impossible to build more than one of them, as there is only one Crimson Gem of Cyttorak in the world, and he has no idea where it is. You bid each other farewell and he also advices you that it might be smart to relocate to a different HQ to avoid unwanted attention.
Quote from: Lucien
While sitting there in traffic, I load up the mounted gun with AP rounds and turn it on. Continue to HQ. Turn it off before I arrive so I don't shoot up the place.
(4) You reach back and flip the switch that activates the auto turret. It immediately responds and starts to fire seemingly at random at the cars and people surrounding the tank-car. (3) It does not do as much damage as one might have thought, but it still kills at least ten people. When you get closer to the HQ you again reach back and flip the switch to deactivate it, then you drive into the HQ and park the car.
Quote from: Blarney
(GM) Practice agility.
(3) You do some exercises, but don't manage to achieve anything.
Quote from: Triolf
(GM) Prepare gauss gun for battle.
(2) You spend a while looking at the gauss gun, feeling like there is something you should do to prepare for combat, but you can't figure out what it is.

Enemy Actions:
Quote from: S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicopters.
...
(6) One of them pass by right above the HQ, and seemingly notices the tank-car driving in. They keep still above the HQ, and are soon joined by many more helicopters, at least twenty. They seem to be preparing an attack.

Allied Actions:
Quote from:  Rebecca Mayers
Take kevlar vest from commander.
(1) When she approaches the commander she slips and falls on a piece of debris on the floor, (6) but she doesn't hurt herself.
Quote from: SWAT commander
Sing
(5+2=6) He is still singing wonderfully.

Environment: The helicopters are converging above the HQ.

I'll try to sneak out one last time if I can and hide myself in a nearby location in order to strike at the SHIELD attackers from within/behind.

If I can't make it out I'll help Rebecca get equipped and we'll take cover around the tank/hummer, dragging the singing commander over with us.

I summon a demon! A big tough one with scales and horns.

Okay, maybe that's not such a great idea right now. I find a kevlar vest and lay down some magic traps.

It would be nice to have you two over here...

Alright...

I tell commander to shoosh for now and heal somehow, and have him keep trying until he can walk again.

I mentally connect with a helicopter pilot and have him pull back on the control stick as hard as he can.

I roll up the blueprint and head back to base, intending to continue my project, oblivious to the fact that the base is about to be attacked.

Connect the gauss gun to capacitor in case power fails, and get ammo for the thing ready.

NO WAIT I'M GOING TO MAKE FIREWORKS AND PREPARE SPEAKERS AND STUFF FOR CHEETAR'S SPEECH SO IT LOOKS COOL AND STUFF.

Turn 48

Quote from: Blarney
I'll try to sneak out one last time if I can and hide myself in a nearby location in order to strike at the SHIELD attackers from within/behind.
(6+1=6) You look out and see that it would be nearly impossible to get away from the HQ without being noticed. But then you notice an access hatch to the sewers that is quite close to the HQ, and you decide to go for it. You rush out, bent low to try to minimize the risk of detection, and successfully reach the hatch, and open it. (Luck roll: 2) The sewer really stinks, but you still climb down, and close the hatch behind you. When you have done so you realize that this wasn't such a good idea after all as there are no light sources down here, but at least you don't run too much risk of detection.
Quote from: Lucien
Okay, maybe that's not such a great idea right now. I find a kevlar vest and lay down some magic traps.
(2) You look around for a kevlar vest, but find none that aren't already used by someone. You then try to create some magic traps, but you can't decide which kind would be most useful.
Quote from: Mr.Roosts
I tell commander to shoosh for now and heal somehow, and have him keep trying until he can walk again.
I mentally connect with a helicopter pilot and have him pull back on the control stick as hard as he can.
(6) You order the commander to heal by pure force of will, and he immediately stops singing and starts trying. You then try to reach out to one of the helicopter pilots, and though it takes a lot of effort for you to do so you are successful. (2) The connection you formed is almost immediately broken by the unusually hectic torrent of thoughts that hits you.
Quote from: Xen
Ok I aquire some cable or rope, tie up a random pedestrian, and fly them back to HQ with me.
(4+1-1=4) You find some rope lying nearby, (Luck roll: 6) and use it to tie up a nearby pedestrian, a rather obese fellow. Flying back to HQ with him in tow is extremely hard, but you manage, only to be faced by about twenty helicopters hovering above the HQ. They almost immediately notice you and through a megaphone they order you to surrender and put the man down, slowly.
Quote from: Cheetahr
I make an inspirational speech. Except with me scaring everyone.
(1) You try giving an inspirational speech, but nobody seems to pay any attention to you.
Quote from: Jim ”Hades” Ferse
I roll up the blueprint and head back to base, intending to continue my project, oblivious to the fact that the base is about to be attacked.
(2) You use your powers to gently roll up the blueprint and then prepare to levitate back to base. But just as you are about to leave you notice Xen flying towards the HQ carrying a large man, and only a few seconds after he disappears from view you hear someone speaking through a megaphone, and when you listen closely you can hear the sound of helicopters. You decide to wait for a few minutes before going back, so that you may see if anything happens.
Quote from: Triolf
NO WAIT I'M GOING TO MAKE FIREWORKS AND PREPARE SPEAKERS AND STUFF FOR CHEETAR'S SPEECH SO IT LOOKS COOL AND STUFF.
(3) You are so completely underwhelmed by the small part of his speech that you actually bothered listening to that you lost all interest.

Enemy Actions:
Quote from: S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicopters.
...
(3) They all turn towards Xen and prepare to fire their weapons.
Quote from: Obese man
Do nothing
(6) He does nothing.
Allied Actions:
Quote from:  Rebecca Mayers
Take cover in a boxfort
(1) She decides to stand out in the open instead. Its not like cover is important in a firefight anyways, right?
Quote from: SWAT commander
Heal!
(6) He tries really hard to heal his broken neck, but fails to do so.

Take note that we are now in 'combat mode', so the turns are shorter. Also, tell me if you find any errors.

Btw, this is probably the last turn I'll write on this computer as I have recently bought a laptop. This also means that I may be able to update on Fridays and Saturdays from now on.
