I attempt to fuse the bones in the invisible woman's elbow, shoulder, knee and hip joints.
(3) You focus hard on fusing together her joints to make it impossible for her to move,
(5) and manage to fuse together all the joints in her lower body. There is basically no way that she can escape now.
I attempt to grab the Thing, and teleport him outside... in midair.
(3) You take a running leap at Thing, trying to grab onto him so you can teleport him outside,
(3-1=2) he doesn't see you coming, and you leap onto his back and grab on, then you try to teleport outside.
(5) You pop outside, push away from him, and then pop back inside, leaving him to plummet to the ground. You then make a snide comment about it being nice to be the fastest thing in the world.
I head down to blarney and helpfully use TK to seperate some hydrogen and put it in the gas tank.
(1) You decide to fly down, and head outside. But then you hear a strange noise, that sounds strangely like screaming, and stop to see what it is. You look up to see a large orange Thing falling straight towards you,
(6) and reflexively send a blast of telekinetic energy at him, deflecting him enough that he missed you. You decide to head back inside, to take the stairs instead.
OK, Lets try Attacking the Thing again
(4) You would, but he is falling down the side of the building, and you don't feel like jumping after him. You instead spend some time trying to remove the mental lock that is forcing you to keep his form, and after a bit of trying you succeed. You can now freely change form again.
I see Luke attempting to teleport the Thing, and fire a duo of fireballs at the orange behemoth before they disappear.
(6) You see Luke and Thing disappear a second before appearing again, outside the building now, and decide to make sure that Thing dies. You rush to the edge of the building, and focus all the energy you can on unleashing hell on the falling Thing.
(4) An absolutely massive wall of fire is launched from your hands, tearing down the side of the building like a raging beast before engulfing the falling Thing,
(2+2=4) he doesn't seem too concerned about it, probably worrying more about the rapidly approaching ground. But you soon start worrying about the fire, because it is raging out of your control. You are sending out an increasing amount of searing flame,
(1) the fire reaches the sidewalk below, and starts to melt through it, soon reaching a gas line that explodes violently!
(6) The fiery explosion tears up the road, creating a small crater, but seems insignificant next to the huge amount of fire you are emitting. Suddenly the stream stops, and you fall to the ground, exhausted.
I bisect the simpleton with a directed hail of spinning blades at his torso.
(3+1=4) You quickly form the small pieces of metal into two large blades, and send them flying straight at the falling Thing,
(3+1=4) the two blades strike him,
(5+2=6) but shatter on impact.
I activate the system with me on camera,make some sort of speach to get everyone's attention then whip off my glasses,exposing everyone to my insanity gaze!
(6) You spend a little while figuring out how it is supposed to work, and find out that it is only a transmitter, and that you need a camera in order to actually have something to transmit. If you do find one you should be able to just plug it in and get to work though, the transmitter has a fuel cell so it doesn't rely on the power grid.
"What are you doing here? And I'm kind of in the middle of something, so say what you're going to say or leave."
(2) You speak with it again, and now it answers. “I was sent here by my brother, who told me that you have treated him with great disrespect. I have come for your soul, mortal,” it says with a twisted grin. You surmise that the rage comes from it trying to take control of your body, and that you'll have to exorcise it to be completely safe. Either that or something a little more, creative...
I jump on the thing, lean up close so my head obscures his damaged eye and try to start yelling at him, trying to scare him.
(4) You decide not to leap off the building in pursuit of the Thing, and instead use your super speed to run to each floor before he falls past, and scream at him to try and scare him.
(4) What you screamed basically equaled 'You're gonna splatter on the ground, Thing! You gon' die!', and he pretty much already knew that, so it doesn't make him him all that much more scared than he already was.
*Goes to search for fuel.*
(4) You quickly find a pump attached to the wall of the Four Freedoms Plaza, clearly labeled 'Hydrogen', and then push the car closer to refill it. After a few minutes of waiting you have a full tank of gas, or rather, liquid hydrogen.
Enemy Actions:Thing go splat?
He hits the ground with an earth shattering force,
(3+2=5) creating a deep crater on impact. A few seconds pass, and as the dust clears you can see him crawling his way out of it, dragging himself along with his one functioning arm. He seems to have suffered horrible injuries, and it is nothing short of a miracle that he is even alive at all.
