well two actions per turn usually pandarsenic, they can be researching, expanding, attacking and stuff like that.
okay i gotta do EP now i forgot to do it again so yeah EP can be spent to help a research task each EP point gives an extra 20 to the roll. If you do a research roll and get 100 say, the benfits from it would outrank the EP spent 'research' as in a swordmaking roll of 100 would give say +3 to combat and hunting on rank 1, whereas an EP rank 1 swordmaking would be +2. the research rolls do pose a risk though. if the roll is too low your species may not research it again aftere failing or the sword may give a -1 to pop rolls or something like that. depends on how you want to play it

Allright. The Amo are impressed by amorok. It is of them, yet not soft and ever-changing, it is hard and unyielding. It is like the rocks, but even harder! The duality of the world, amorph vs solid, has always baffled the Amo. Extending themselves, incorporating both states into one body, should make them more complete, make them more one with the world they crawl on. They should be able to mold amorok, while it's in the process of being made. They research molding it into primitive weapons and tools (hammers, claws).

It is infact +10 to research. Well, either way is good.

Research religion, as that The Earth Lord Cheetar may be worshipped better. Um, spend 1 EP to aid in this research.

Beneath the surface of Perolia, there exists a great cavern. It is a Holy Place of The Earth Lord Cheetar. Many colonies migrate there to worship Him, as that He may aid them in their own manipulation of the Earth. They come, settle down, farm some mushrooms for a while, think about Cheetar, then leave.
This is not enough thinks I. I have many thinking banks and I see that His Holiness Cheetar can be pleased better. I think that we must honour him. We must mirror him in our works. See His image in the center of the cavern. I have created myself several copies of this image. If we all do this then we will honour Him surely? For He will see that we enjoy the sight of Him, and create from the Earth as He does.

Research underground construction. I see no reason not to aid this by spending 1 EP.

And so to honour The Earth Lord Cheetar we must shun the surface where He has not equal power for it is the domain of Earth where thou shalt find peace. So farm not corn nor blaeberries, and herd not aphids on the leaves of high trees.
Nay, eat of the fungus that grows beneath the surface, and hunt for those beasts that shun the surface, and thou shalt be blessed. Build thy body in caverns of clay, and set up thy farms on the bed of rocks that our Lord Cheetar has provided.
