Hello everyone. As this new mafia craze hits everyone I have decided to make a mafia game. As you see in the title, it is going to be based on Lord of the Rings. If this lives beyond Round 1, there will be another round, and if someone is killed(lets say, Merry, or Pippin)they are gone forever.

First round will start off in Bree, at the Prancing Pony Inn.

Roles(or at least what I am thinking of)

Frodo-Hobbit. All hobbits know each other. Frodo holds the Ring, which cant be given to the Nazgul! You may put on the Ring, making you for one turn unkillable, but only once, and the Ringwraiths have a chance of finding out who you are when you use it.
Sam-Hobbit. All hobbits know each other.
Pippin-Hobbit. All hobbits know each other.
Merry-Hobbit. All hobbits know each other.
Strider-Man.Has tracked Hobbits, so he knows who they are, but they don't know him. Has a sword.
Barliman Butterbrew-Man.Knows who Strider is, but Strider doesnt know him.
Drunk-Regular Man.
Friendly Drunk-Man. May take a player drinking, making them unkillable. This cant be used on yourself.
Midget Drunk-Can be mistaken as a shorty.
Observant Drunk-Can tell if someone has a sword that they are hiding.
Nazgul-Basically the Mafia. They hunt the Hobbits, and if they succeed in taking the Ring, and unless the one who takes it is not lynched, they win! Have swords.
Perceptive Nazgul-Can tell if a person is a shorty or not. Chance to fail.

No. Not all Nazgul were there....I think.........There will be 4 or 3. No Witch King, because I am pretty sure he was not there.

6-person Masonry sucks for Nazgul. The Masonry has a near-instant majority, since:

4 Hobbits
1 Strider
1 Bartender Dude

On the other hand, the Nazgul have a chance of an early-win based on killing Frodo.

Well.......no one would fit the roles for that....unless you count strider for doctor...but he wasnt that good....hmmmm.....I need some help with roles. People who join can say their suggestions. I am guessing that inaluct and pandar want in?


And actually, 2 of the masons could be nazgul in disguise. remember, hobbits dont know the identity of strider or bartender.

Also, the Masonry only extends to 6 starting with the hobbits.

No hobbit nazgul.

You see, strider knows who the Hobbits are, but they do not know who he is. Barliman knows who strider is, but strider does not know who barliman is. This lets there be a chance of confusion

One of the Nazgul should be able to look at a player to determine if they are really short.

But as long as Strider follows the Hobbits and Barliman follows Strider... instant voting powerhouse. Even more powerful if someone else notices that they always vote together.

inaluct, that is a fucking brilliant idea.

One of the drunks should have the ability to notice an openly carried sword (can be Strider or a Nazgul).

Another drunk should be able to take someone out drinking (have them be missing from their room, and thus, immune to nightkill).

Hmmm.....But with the sword thing, he cant tell if it is strider or nazgul. Only fair way. Anyway,, there is a 4/5 chance it is a nazgul if there is a sword guy.

That is a good idea inaluct.

But they need names.

It's kinda fair, considering the game ends on the lynch of Frodo and not majority. But then again, you could go for a massclaim and win.
