Dragooble will rip out Digitals stomach, and then force feed it to Digital.

I think the crowd should somehow cause fire imps/fire men/magma men to come out and roast the competitors.

Turn 31. Every single time any character died, I felt bad about it.

Digital – | Digital creates a massive sphere and hurls it at Dragooble. It explodes halfway between them in a large kinetic blast. | | Digital was expecting the blast, and only moved back slightly. Dragooble, however, | was less lucky. Caught completely by surprise, he was thrown backwards into the lava. He does not survive.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Crowd – |

Good ending: A magician in the audience teleports Digital up to a platform set into the side of the arena. The judges award him his freedom for succeeding, and an arch-wizard spectator takes Digital on as an apprentice. There he learns how to be one of the most powerful wizards the world has ever known.

Bad ending: Digital dies from toxic lava vapors and heat.

Strange ending: Digital teleports away. Three months later, an unexplained, massive explosion destroys the planet and all life on it. The cause remains unknown, but Digital escapes to our universe to the year 3137 to play the finally complete Dwarf Fortress. His life’s work done at last, cyborg-Toady finally gets a nap.

Poll time: Which game do I GM next?
1A) Rookie Arena round 2, same rules
1B) Rookie Arena round 2, different rules
2) A cooperative RTD
3)
I vote 3. A competitive RTD where violence is only one option of many to win. Kinda similar to the Treasure Sounds Like Treachery RTD.
Other- ???

You have at least three days to vote.

I told you it was a great idea. :I

Anyway, I vote for option 1B. I suggest that contestants get to do a point-buy selection of their equipment. I still advocate letting people not currently in an RTD in ahead of those already in a game.

I would like a game like Feys, but in the same format basically. Using DFPaint

If voting for 1B or other, please say what you want. I agree with Inaluct, a point-buy system would be good.
Any forum game involving me drawing is doomed to a rapid failure.

1B point buy system. With weird items. And less overpowered magic, I think. Giving magic attempts -1 (unless the original roll was a 6, in which case it should get explosive) unless you're actually somewhat skilled in that is probably one way to go.
