Cow, A RP is perhaps a bit slow paced against a much faster RTD or at least a Let's Play.

If you don't like even one post without action in it, then I expect you won't like intervals of perhaps a page.

If you can't develope a character, and just want one in to blow shit up, RP(Not G, just RP) is not for you.

I have to go against you here Armok, the character is still over powered.

I didn't even get a trenchcoat!

And you never will.

Where do you expect to get a coat out in space?

Also, like I said, I didn't really want you to insert your persona de forum (Which you didn't by the way, good job.) and the coat kinda makes Strife...well Strife. Its one of your characteristics of the forum. Maybe not in real life, though you may very well have such a coat, but not in this RP.

I'm rather glad you didn't even attempt to insert it.

Are you trying to get your chappie to meet up with my guy?

Also, how much control do you want to give us over the events on board the retribution, if I decide that the entire deck one gets shattered, for example? I'd assume that that would be frowned upon, but some limits would be nice.

I dont want to just blow shit up. I do want to develop a character, thats why I joined in the first place! I can take some intervals of no action, as a matter of fact I prefer some breaks. But... Its just sort of my style to have lots of action.

But I'll try...

For you Drone. ;D

EDIT:Also Strifes post is relevant to my intrests.

Actually, the post that I had in mind would define the particular sort of attack that the Retribution is facing. It would not result in the destruction of an entire deck.

I would just like for them to get in the ship somehow, preferably through medical deck. But it already seems that they have at least creeped inside according to Sombers post.

I'd say a single larger vessal, and two smaller vessals. The larger vessal is hidden behind the suns corona. The smaller vessels are engaging, which is now known.

The destruction of any section of the ship is not allowed unless I RP it so as to get it right. Damage to the ship may be RPed. That can be fixed later, and as its a battle, its bound to happen.

The enemy is not yet in close distance, and basicly we're just trading shots.

Also, as we're just random grunts at the moment, we don't exactly have this exact grasp on the situation, so don't act exactly as such.

So yeah. Basicly, nothing to big, but not tiny. The control of The Retribution should lie in the hands of the GM obviously. Just to get the plot moving forward. But if you want the outter armour plating to get, say scorched a little, or for some enemy fighters to run by and strafe, thats fine also.

And for future reference, you can RP combat of the events I reveal, meaning if your in say deck 3, and aliens board the ship, and your character see's marines fighting, then you may post about the fight, hopefully with details. But you can not RP as if you know what a Fighter Squadron is doing, as obviously you can't see that.

This is really suppose to either be in a third or first person perspective, and centered around your character and those around him/her.

You know what, I'm ranting so I'm going to stop right here.

No, thats fine. The more information the better, even if it comes in rant form.

Also why doesent a military vessel have a prison? Stragely I just noticed this.

A brig, you mean? Hmmm.

Also, I suggest the scrambled ships have a theme of being named for mythical monsters.

I would love to see a design for whatever gets the class Manticore.

So we are allowed to have boarders?

And what about a short sequence in 2nd person limited, you know, from the prespective of said boarder?

That defeats the porpose of role play if your just going to be a narrorator I think.

Anyway here comes my characters part, I gotta get it up.

Erm...I don't think I even saw it Jon.

Post me quote. Though Inaluct and Pandar may have already shot it down.

And as for the Brig, yes we have one. No I will not mention it as a seperate deck, as its apart of a different one. No I will not say which one, because I don't even know. I don't like adding in unimportant details. Usually, I add in space for something to be allowed in so we don't sand bag ourselves into one way of RPing.

For example. I didn't mention we had an Observation deck, because its so small that it doesn't deserve its own deck in the line of areas on ship. Its a secondary deck, like the brig, the galley, and other areas. Your not even likely to go to either of the three anyway.
