Strife came from a long line of military history, all of which became null. With the advent of space-war, ground pounders were no longer needed, and the marines had control of the ship protection racket. Strife was quickly lost to apathy. After going through college living in his parent's basement, he finally enlisted. He's fresh out of basic, and hating everything.

If you don't like either the words IC and OOC, and you haven't bothered to read all the other fine and acceptable explanations that pretty much spell out why I decided to take such a course of action, you may as well go ahead and kiss my shiny metal ass.

But for those who have no problem with it at all, good job. Post a character that is approved by both WorkerDrone #1(Inaluct) and WorkerDrone #2(Pandar) and your in.

At this point, I don't think I'll get the chance to approve anything before they jump on it and  either give it a thumbs up or tear it apart.

James Tynan was born in Australia, Earth. James came from a poor area, and a poor family. He is made of tough stuff ((no special stuff about this btw, just description of his personality.)), his nickname came from him telling people what to do, and not taking any shit. He rarely shows his emotions. He's one of those people who gets shit done, and gets it done hard and fast. During his childhood he was betrayed a number of times, so he doesn't trust many people. He was always picked on in school and out of it, because of this he can take, and has taken, a punch better than most.((-again, nothing special only personality description.)) He always had a head for mathematics, as such he went to uni for engineering, after working in the field for a few months it wasn't exciting enough, it wasn't... What he was looking for. So he decided to join the military, as an engineer. ((-although he has formal training in engineering, his training was for civilian capacity, and as such he is not much better at military engineering than most other crewmen.)) However, it was not what he expected. After bootcamp he was treated as a grunt, only tasked to do simple jobs. Defiantly not what he wanted.
