A while back, I embarked on a massive freshwater-lake fortress with the intent of draining the lake and placing an undersea glass fortress. 

The name selected by the Random Name Generator was "Drownedglazes," which would have been incredibly appropriate (a glassmaker is a glazier...)  Unfortunately, it was an EVIL freshwater lake, and all my dorfs got eaten by landwalking skeletal sharks.   (*Dingdong* "Who's there?" "Landshark.")

I had a group, the innocent(or any other word with the same meaning) mechanism.

Which is quite funny because mechanisms always result in fortresses filled with water ;P so they aren't that innocent even though the dwarves make them.

The dual spire map with sheer cliff I posted somewheres the save with the fort... The name is Dreamworks IIRC I didn't even change either settings for em. I forget what the group name was.

The name of my expedition is "The Roasted Tool". My fort is named "Axeclan" so I have 50 Champion axedwarves.

Gearmaze.
I was so bad at fortress planning back then that all of my forts were hard to navigate labyrinths. This one was special because I brought along a mechanic and built a metric shit-tonne of gear assemblies along the walls.
