Gems and weapons
« on: February 27, 2009, 11:20:23 pm »

Hello. I'm a returning modder and have become a bit rusty. Does anyone know if you can alter a gem's code so it so it can be used to make weapons?

You can make a reaction that turns a gem into a sharpenable rock with the same properties, or one that uses a gem to make a metal bar with the same properties as the gem.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.

But no, you can't actually have a gem that can be used to make weapons.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

From "Angroshs Kinder" Das schwarze Auge Zwergenhandbuch - (Angrosh Children, the dark eye, german pen&paper, dwarven handbook):
"Elves!? Their men dont wear beards, and their women bathe nacked to lure you into the water and drown you. Thank Angrosh they are as ugly as the day and all big and skinny."

Well, yes, but then it does 50% damage and has no quality modifiers.
