I grab a few extra arrows and a couple of silver pieces, then scout ahead on the path.

I ask Cheeetar; "Shouldn't the wounded guy be patched up bit before you start carrying him? It could be a long time till we get back to the keep."

Road
You are on a road in the middle of a forest. There are two corpses here, stripped of everything but their clothing. The road is a lot quieter than the forest, but you are now in plain view. It is currently night, so you should hear enemies before they see you. But be careful. The blood-spattered road goes north and south.

There are a few items here: Copper Shield, Bone Shield, 3 Silver Coins, Wooden Arrow
There are five people here: Cheeetar, Aoness, Inaluct, Webadict, Rick

GM's Note: Think if you were a soldier. Now imagine if you saw two corpses of your brethren lying on the road ahead of you, with arrows sticking out of them. Yeah.

Also, you guys had the element of surprise in that fight. That does a lot for you in this game.

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

It is too late for them, but they may still be of use.
I rip up some of the corpses clothing to bind up Webadicts wounds.

Cheeetar makes neat strips of bandage out of the clothing. Using this, he bandages some of Webadict's grievous wounds. In fact, he feels a little bit more experienced having done this.

After glaring at Sergeant Cheeetar, Captain Inaluct looks to see if he can discern the identities of the fallen soldiers. After doing that, he quietly addresses his comrades, The Earl's Finest (that's our regiment name, okay?); "We need to get going. Can anyone remember which way the Earl's keep is from here?"

The soldiers appear to be a sergeant and a private. No other identification can be discerned.

I try to remember which way we came from to find this path, and which way the castle probably is.
Edit: Does Webadict get a boost to his health from the bandages?

Good idea, but you didn't cover all his wounds. And no, you are totally lost. No idea where the castle is.

Seeing that his men have no idea which way the castle is, Captain Inaluct tries to look confident as he solemnly leads them north.

I scrounge around for some dust, and throw it into the head thieves eyes.

Protip - Armor

Steel - 5-10 damage
Iron - 2-7 damage
Copper - 1-5 damage
Bone - 1-3 damage
Leather - 1-2 damage
Wood - 1 damage

Plate - torso (+2 damage resistance)
Chain - torso (+1 damage resistance)
GM's Note: If either of these are made of leather, wood, etc, they count as breastplates instead of plate or chainmail. No extra damage resistance.
Cap - head (-1 damage resistance)
Helm - head
Bascinet - head (+1 damage resistance)
Leggings - legs + groin (+1 damage resistance)
High boots - legs + feet
Low boots - feet
Vambraces - arms
Gauntlet - hands
Greaves - legs (+1 damage resistance)
Buckler - left arm, halves damage if hit is intercepted, removes locational damage
Shield - left arm, blocks damage

You can aim but it reduces chance-to-hit slightly.
