LCS - how do I sell brownies?

There are several hints in the wiki that say selling brownies is a good thing to do early on, however I have yet to find the option / combination of commands that lets me do so

Thanks, yeah I found activate, that's what I was missing.

Second question, does Army Uniform count as armor?  Or should I just be making trench coats?

It does not. Trenchcoats don't any more, for that matter. If you want to make your own body armor, go with Bunker Gear, but be aware it's pretty weak against most attacks.

You can also make Civilian Body Armor, which doesn't protect your arms and legs as well, but offers slightly better protection to the critical chest area. You have to be shot in the head or chest to be killed instantly (otherwise you can only bleed to death), so that matters a great deal.

Better body armor can be gotten by recruiting soldiers or police officers, and taking their stuff. Or just killing them, but you have to be careful about that, since they're both generally pretty tough.

Once you get a full squad with the cheap AR-15s taking out police is like making a sandwich. And if you have a sportscar like I do you can lose the cops/mercs/whateverthehellischasingyou very easily. Its the SWAT team that kills you like a hot knife going through butter. I just look around for army guys and kill them and take their stuff.

I just found out that I was playing the version that toady has on his web site rather than the Open Source continuation.  We should really ask toady to link to the forum from his download page
