The name decides what I start with, eh?
I think I like Digital Hellhound.
And you can always AI them if they won't post.
Looks like it'll be necessary. We're missing two out of eight.... Oh well. I'll see if I can get a turn up soon. Probably in the next two to four hours.
Edit: And I'll post it here.
I make a body from magic.
Using your ability to perceive magic, you begin plucking at the nearby magical strands, trying to coerce them into working for you.
You're shocked when it actually begins to respond, and try to form it into a body...
You drag and pull at the nearby magic, and you can feel the surrounding magic being drained away by your efforts. Uncaring, you finally create yourself a body of magical energy, which coalesces in front of some very unhappy looking defenders.
I again try and make senses for myself.
You plunge deep into your inner mind, and
order it to obey your will and create proper senses.
You're suddenly sickened as your mind is bombarded by an unending horde of information.
You fight it back, but you can still feel it confusing and baffling your senses. This problem is a long way from gone.
I try to further my comunications with the engineer if possible.
You attempt to strengthen your link with the engineer, and are bombarded by information as the resulting dialogue goes at the speed of thought. Though you're still a bit dazed from all the information, some things have become much clearer. The engineer, who calls himself 'Rev' for some odd reason, goes on to explain that the border was being protected because of another faction who they had an uneasy cease-fire with had been seen making movements for quite some time now. This faction is also of the same creatures, who apparently call themselves as a race the 'Tolnathi'. Rev doesn't seem to particularly care why the war happened, and attempts to speak in that regard accomplish little, but he seems inordinately pleased to meet a spirit that actually talks. When you try to inquire further, he claims that he is 'gifted', and seems to assume that explains all of it.
You manage to hold onto your link with the engineer, but all the distractions from that direction made your link with the other guard fade away.
I enhance my form with menacing spikes of whatever I can find.
You once again pull at your surroundings, trying to enhance your form with some sort of armor or weapons.
You feel a shaking in the ground below yourself, and a boulder flies up out of the ground nearby, headed straight towards you!
You stare, dumbfounded by the size of the rock, wondering how you managed to move it, and then internally debating whether you want to get out of the way.
This deliberation takes a bit too long, and your form is smashed under the boulder, a distinctly unpleasant experience. You feel like your body has been pressed deep into the earth, and are rather thankful you don't need to breath.
I fix the moving box.
Being non-physical and not having any idea how this thing works really does make it rather difficult to fix. You fail to accomplish anything.
I concentrate and attempt to sense what's going on around me.
You glance around the isolation room that you were escorted into after the event at the northern border of the base. The walls are smooth and unmarked, and the only furniture is the bed that you are currently sitting on. You wonder what it's all about, but after one look at you, one of the gifted had ordered you to be taken here. You aren't sure why, but you still feel a bit odd, and have a strange feeling at the back of your mind...
He attempts to convince someone to let him out.
You stay still for the moment, not wanting to anger your superiors. Maybe they'll let you out soon.
He attempts to practice his geomancy further.
You're all ready to continue practicing, until a giant boulder comes along and smashes 'Matty' into the dirt with extreme prejudice. You wonder if you should help...
They'll probably be doing something about the glowing humanoid that materialized in front of them.
They all level their weapons at 'Org' and his new body, though they seem to be reluctant to open fire just yet. Several of the vehicles appear to have come back while everyone was inattentive. He'll probably want to fix his elevator.
With some more yelling an unpleasant words, the elevator begins moving again, and they finally disembark at the bottom, quite unhappy looking. He doesn't seem to be in view any more.
Which is quickly amended. He zooms into view from behind a building, tearing back towards where Org and Cheeetar are at incredible speeds, and actually shoots past them quite quickly, apparently unable to slow down.
Despite all this zooming around, his vehicle seems fine.Cheeetar manages to make out a lot of movement among the structures from what little he understands of the information he's swamped with.
