I try to relocate myself to a location close to the collosus and then contact it.
Here goes nothing
Proud collosus of Areth.
Before you stands the test of your life.
Victory shall mean eternal honour.
Failure shall mean eternal disgrace.
Now follow my command and slay this infidel!
I hope you mean Goliath, because that's what you're getting. =P
Anyway, it looks like everyone's posted, so I'll throw together a turn in an hour or two.
Grrrr, you'll get yours. Who are these? Are they- are they threatening me?
Wa-ha-ha-ha!
Time for sneak tactics...
I sneakly sneak into one of the invading creatures. I will not subvert it to my will yet, just ride along for a while...
In desperation, you lunge for one of the creatures with the smaller weapon, but you can't seem to hide yourself within them.
The Goliath lunges for you, but only succeeds in pushing the one you attempted to hide within aside as he tries to grab you.
I try to gain earth-manipulation powers.
Confident at least for the moment with your body, you experimentally try to control or tap into the surrounding earth.
You surprise yourself when you manage to make a small fountain of dirt fly upwards from the ground, leaving a small hole.
I challenge the Goliath for leadership over these creatures.
Maybe defeating their leader would be necessary...
When you try to proceed further, though, it seems to stiffen the defender's resolve.
Once again, their attempts at firing at you seem ineffective, but they don't look like they are willing to let you come any closer. You hear a rumbling in the distance.
I have everyone help make a body with me.
SOMEONE HELP!
You try again to pester the spirit that has already created a body, but he once again rebuffs your efforts to convince him.

You realize the scarred spirit is in the room with the apparent leader, and try to take things into your own hands...
You attempt to teleport yourself, and succeed... Barely. You doubt you could recreate the effect, and you feel drained by the effort, though you arrive in time to see the largest creature lunge towards the scarred spirit.
Yes thats it I make a spacesuit shell to cover my ethreal ghostiness kinda like the professor in hellboy II that would be cool.
(For future rolls)
If I fail at making a suit try again.
If I succeed then I work on my spellcasting to try and raise my proficiency.
You call upon the pitiful flow of energy that remains after the majority of it fled, and weave it as a protective shell around yourself.
You manage to pull it around yourself, and, as an addition touch, pull some of the earth around you into it, coloring it a light brown, making it less obviously magical to the observer. You feel drained by your efforts.
They attempt to call for backup.
They form up, creating a barrier for any further entrance into the settlement. The officer seems to be yelling something again, but Cheeetar can't see what's going on.
He attempts to deal with the situation.
He yells something at one of his soldiers, and he hands Goliath a small rectangular object that was attached to his uniform, looking shaken, which Goliath then proceeds to yell at in a very nasty tone of voice.
The scarred spirit can't understand most of it, but he thinks he understood 'gifted'...Cheeetar fails to notice much else, until....Cheeetar suddenly hears a savage roaring, and a metal object flies from one of the larger structures towards Cheeetar.
Several loud 'thoom' sounds tear through the air as several large projectiles rip into Cheeetar's form, exploding and sending the golem sailing through the air.
Cheetar's golem takes a severe beating, though still seems to be in one piece.Okay guys, enough picking on Cheeetar for this turn.Conditions:
