Dang it. Well. I suppose this it the time to get in traps. I go in the general direction of Fort Lamar, just pretending to be sent there. I ask Bob to join me. I also switch my umbrella for the hypnodisc.

Two updates in one day? Madness!

Whoo!

Follow him inside. If he doesn't go inside, lead the way inside.

You go inside,

You see the masked man.

"Who are you? Nevermind, it doesn't matter. Good thing you got in here, Piet's about to become the home of a lot of nasty creatures and personalities, and the seals on the front entrance, although half-broken, are still actively working to keep them out of this building. Don't ask how I know that, it's for your own good. I'm heading up, I don't care what you do."

There is a map on the wall, you look at it.

What do you do?

Dang it. Well. I suppose this it the time to get in traps. I go in the general direction of Fort Lamar, just pretending to be sent there. I ask Bob to join me. I also switch my umbrella for the hypnodisc.

You two take the direct route and head straight for Lamar. You Equip you're hypnodisk, but because of starlight and swamp gas and weather balloons, it looks like you're not holding or wearing anything at all.

You encounter a patrol group of 5 Faundian soldiers, specifically scouting to catch potential runaways.

"Hey! What are you doing! Get back to camp or you'll be executed on the spot!"

What do you do?

Tell masked man I'm the one whose clothes he's wearing.
Also, I'm sent here to stop the invasion on Piet.

Lets climb that stair! Up, Up we go!

Excuse me. Do you have any fairies on you? No? Perhaps a fairy whistle? Also no?
Then how the hell do you plan on getting rid of those imps?
Offer to buy a man's pants- it's a guaranteed way of getting some fairies. (100% success rate)

Lets climb that stair! Up, Up we go!

You tell him that those are your clothes.

"Eh? What are you talking about?"

You two go up the stairs.

You see a gnome with a soul patch.

"Oh, hey, you two don't look like anyone I'm supposed to let up the tower, but hey, let's see if you can. Over here is a scale, and up there are 8 boxes. 1 of the boxes contains the key to getting to the next floor, the other 7 are magically enchanted to, when opened, unlock the door behind you, which houses my deadly pet, who will gladly rip apart intruders for me. Now, if you want to find the right box, you should know that the correct box is slightly heavier than the other 7, and I'll allow you to use the scale to determine which one is the correct one. However, there is a catch, the scale can only be used 3 times, for you see, the scale has also been enchanted, and once it's been used a 4th time, it will unleash my pet as well. Oh, and don't think of attacking me, I can release my pet remotely if I so desire."

What do you do?

Fine. We'll get back to the camp, but we were sent to help at Lamar.

The guards take none of your lip, and you get sent back to the camp. The guards place you in a giant orange tent and leave.

It would appear that you're free to move around the encampment.

Scales:

Fucking easy.

Measure four boxes first, two on each side, if one side weighs more measure between those two to find the heaviest, which is the box that contains the key.

If they weigh the same do it with the other four boxes.

Either:
Actions1:
1. Measure 4 boxes
2. Measure 2 boxes

OR

Actions2:
1. Measure 4 boxes
2. Measure 4 boxes
3. measure 2 boxes

Do what Emperor spoilered-without-spoilertags! (although I did know the solution myself)
Measure 4 boxes.
If unequal, measure the 2 heavier ones.
                Pick the heavier one.
Else If equal,
Measure all four remaining boxes.
Pick the heavier side and measure those two.
Pick the heaviest box.

Open the box. Thank soulpatchgnome. Go up!

Also point the masked man at the name on his clothes.
"Those were mine. But I forgive you."

Lessee, I'm taking a look in the animal tent. And the others, when there's time for that.

Quite a simple puzzle.

Yes, I think in the original puzzle there are 9 (uneven number) boxes. Still not that hard, but requires some more thinking. I ain't spoiling it for anyone, whom I could spoil it for.

Is 'whom' used there?

Don't be solving the puzzles for the players guys.

Do what Emperor spoilered-without-spoilertags! (although I did know the solution myself)
Measure 4 boxes.
If unequal, measure the 2 heavier ones.
                Pick the heavier one.
Else If equal,
Measure all four remaining boxes.
Pick the heavier side and measure those two.
Pick the heaviest box.

Open the box. Thank soulpatchgnome. Go up!

Also point the masked man at the name on his clothes.
"Those were mine. But I forgive you."

You solve the puzzle, and find the correct box. You preemptively forgive the masked man.

You open the box, expecting a key, but instead a whole bunch of spiders jump out!

You gain the Covered in spiders status ailment.

The gnome speaks,

"Hahahaha! That was too funny, did you honestly think it would be that easy? The REAL key is actually among the seven, and it's slightly lighter than the others."

The gnome snaps his fingers.

"Now you can use the scale 3 more times, good luck!"

What do you do?

Lessee, I'm taking a look in the animal tent. And the others, when there's time for that.

You go to the animal tent.

You see some monsters in cages. There's a faundian soldier looking after them.

"Hey Bill, the Barrogs are pretty well-behaved today. Kinda weird, heh? They don't need any cleaning right now, who's that guy?"

"He's a new slave, I'm showing him the ropes."

"Oh, alright."

What do you do?

Laugh at the joke...
Try to remove spiders.

Go through the motions again, this time look for the lighter box:
4 on the scale, if one is lighter, those two on the scale, if one is lighter, take it.
Otherwise 2 of the other three on the scale, if they're equal, it's the last one, otherwise pick the lighter one.

This time, 'that other guy' can open it.
"My name's Siquo, by the way, as you can see on the label on the clothes you're wearing. What's yours?"
