"Then what do you suppose we do? To me it seems that regrouping outside the fort is not abandoning, and we'd have a lot more chance of winning the fort back if we're rested and, you know, not dead."

Check if there's a way into the armory, while talking, they may open it up now we got rid of the enemies in front of their door.

Had a bit of manual labor to do today, so I couldn't get in my daily update.

I'll have a super-duper update tomorrow though, promise.

Sure. What happens if I don't figure out the riddles?

"Oh, anything could happen! Don't listen to those stories where people take the trial then go missing, those are all fabrications."

What do you do?

"Then what do you suppose we do? To me it seems that regrouping outside the fort is not abandoning, and we'd have a lot more chance of winning the fort back if we're rested and, you know, not dead."

Check if there's a way into the armory, while talking, they may open it up now we got rid of the enemies in front of their door.

You check the armory, it is sealed up tight. Apparently, the owner doesn't want anything to do with the battle.

You once again try to convince the lamarian to retreat with you.

"Are you kidding? Look how well we're doing!"

"See that guy being carried by those soldiers? He's the general, you can tell from the fact that his shoulder pads are bigger than everyone else's, if we kill him, then we'll win for sure!"

What do you do?

Hmmm, wait till medicated status wears off, get behind the frontline of soldiers, fire crossbow at general. Tell soldier:
"Get your ass to the barracks, and bring me back some matches! I've got a bomb here and I see some excellent targets to throw it at!"

EPIC!

EPIC!

You tell your new friend to go to the barracks and get the matches you left behind.

2 turns pass, watching the battle unfold, several soldiers die, and you're free from your negative status ailment! You use this opportunity to get into the back row,

You get a better look at the General from your new vantage point.

He has amazingly well-made +20 armor, and a odd looking +10 weapon which appears to be a combination of a spear and a sword!

You fire an arrow at the general with your crossbow.

Roll: 5

No damage! You've used 1 +3 arrow.

The Lamarian gets back with the matches.

It would appear that the Lamarians that are stopping the horde of Faundians will likely get annihilated in 2 turns.

What do you do?

That sounds good enough. Plus, existence failure ain't bad. I'll be a trialee!

"Wonderful! This'll only take a second..."

The woman takes your hand and in permanent ink draws an odd symbol...

"This mark will last until Rorschach himself decides to take it off of you. I hope you have a wonderful day sir!"

What do you do?

That bear really got you, Vlynndar  ;D

Ok, light bomb, lob it into the multitude of enemies. Ask the soldier if he has any idea how to get through the armor of the General...

Ok, light bomb, lob it into the multitude of enemies. Ask the soldier if he has any idea how to get through the armor of the General...

You light the bomb, then throw it into the crowd!

MASSIVE DAMAGE TO THE GROUP!

10d6 worth of damage to all Faundian Units,

Roll(10d6)+0:
1,1,3,1,5,6,4,4,2,5,+0
Total:32

32 points of damage! The crowd of 13 Faundian foot soldiers and 2 Lamarian soldiers take 22 damage and are killed! The general takes 12 damage! The general has 8 health left!

The general is angry!

"My men! You're dead meat!"

What do you do?

Ooh, that looks like a stick with snakes circling around it...

Before I leave for the store OPPOSITE to the CHURCH, which I do by CROSSING the ROAD, I orangify my head.

You go to the light blue shop,

The shopkeeper has a moustache and a weird hat.

"Hey, how ya doin? What ya see is what ya see."

What do you do?

Purchase whistle. Hide behind shopkeep in case bear follows me in.

You buy the tin whistle.

you hide behind the shopkeeper, in preparation for another bear attack.

No bear is coming, it's apparently wandered off.

"What are you doing sir?"

What do you do?

The shopkeeper has a moustache and a weird hat.

Looks dodgy.

Do not go in his van cart.

You don't go into his nonexistent cart.

What do you do?

Siquo cheers! Siquo enters a battle-trance!

Siquo throws his spear at the general!
Siquo fires his crossbow at the general!

You can't go into a battle trance unless atleast 4 enemies are targetting you.

You throw your spear!

Roll: holy crap!

You roll a lucky 6! Armor is ignored! You deal 10 damage!

The proud nameless Faundian dies. The enemy forces are demoralized and retreat! Fort Lamar is victorious!

It would appear, that through wit and luck, you've escaped my death trap... for now.

What do you do?
