Nope. I will just hold it in my backpack. I will use it when the need arises.

I go in search of the mysterious cork trees.
I GO IN SEARCH FOR THE BIGGEST CORK TREE IN THE FOREST, AND CUT IT DOWN WITH MY HERRING CARP

Jon and Cheeetar set out for the cork trees. They wander for only a short time before coming across one. They don't question how they can recognize a cork tree despite never having seen one before.

In order to extract the precious cork from this tree, a truly genius idea springs into Jon's mind, he pulls out the Carp that he's had for some time, and swings it at the tree with all his might!

The dead carp explodes into bloody bits on contact with the tree, which is completely unharmed. What the hell is wrong with you?

Not really knowing what to do, they wander a little bit more, and come across a Fairy (5 hp, -4 natural attack modifier).

The Fairy hasn't noticed you.

What do you do?

Rooster's Path
Rooster has finally reached Trombly!

Do you want to do anything while you're here?

"Say, do you have any corks? I would be ever so grateful, as our boat needs a cork to float."

"Sure, I got plenty."

The cork fairy takes out a bag,

"I won't give it to you for free. I don't ask for money or labor, all I want is someone to talk to for a while. None of the other fairies talk to me 'cause I'm the Cork Fairy, the least cool of them all. I wish I were really cool, like the Key Fairy, the Tooth Fairy, or the Hair Fairy."

You just angared the fairy  ::)

Anyyyyway, I visit my wife while I'm at it. And since there is nothing to do I'll keep going onward

You visit your pregnant wife, who has been worrying about you all day.

Holding her hand, you explain the situation to her, and tell her what you have to do. She's upset but understands and you make your way to Baurville without another word or action.

"Alright, ummm... So I was at Feeville, that's the fairy village you see, and I was going to do my daily Prayer to Merida, the Goddess of Fairies, and I bumped into Hanzel the Rain Fairy, and he said my clothes were ugly! Can you believe that? So after my prayer, the Priest told me this funny joke, Lemme try to remember it... oh yeah! It was 'What happens when two snails fight? They slug it out' and I thought that was funny, you think that's funny? Oh I know a bunch more.

What do clouds wear under their clothes? Thunderware!
What do you call it when a book spies on people? A peeping tome!
Why was the willow weeping? He was unpoplar!
Why are horses poor dancers? They have two left feet!
Why do bees have sticky hair? They use honeycombs!
What do termites eat for breakfast? Oakmeal!

So, eh, anyway, I found a Cork Tree tore down recently, and I was investigating, and that's why I'm out here today."

"Cork fairy, why not come along with us?"

"No thanks, Fairies aren't supposed to travel to places inhabited by humans, it's part of Feeville's code of conduct, and if anyone found out, I'd be even more unpopular. Tell you what though, here's a special Fairy Whistle, it makes a special sound only Fairies can hear. If you blow it in any place not inhabited by humans, then I'll come as fast as I can and try to help out, just as gratitude for listening. Other Fairies can hear it though, and so you may attract other Fairies, and other Faires aren't as nice as me, so be careful. Also, please don't blow it during fights, Fairies hate fighting.... OH, and I almost forgot, here's a bag of cork, My name's Kam the Cork Fairy, thanks for listening."

After Kam finally shuts up, he gives Cheeetar the bag of cork and Jon the Fairy Whistle. Then quickly flies away.

"Fee" [Fay] is dutch for fairy. Appropriate town-name, Feeville is.

And when are they going to die? We need more death!
